Hotel needs numbered room signs to direct you to your room!!! The red side is a maze of rooms!! It can be very difficult to find your room sometimes on the upper floors and if your carrying all your luggage with you its very frustrating!!

This hotel is a little jewel in the crazy busy area of Camberwell. Comfy bed, great air con, chocolate treats in room! Stay here quite often and love it!

Room view was of air con unit and a wall.handle for the window was very loose. These are minimal issues though

Put on the top flor with a 20kg suitcase. No lift and I had to lug the thing up and down the stairs

Great location. Easy reach to mul;tiple buses. The Oval and Oval tube station. Hand to local amenities and restaurants. Quirky Mediteranean themed rooms that a re really quite nice.

Didn't like the small pillows 😕 and the poor selection on the TV, it didn't have normal Pop just Tiny Pop which my daughter always looks forward to watching when we stay in hotels.

Loved how tidy and clean it was and how friendly and helpful the staff were. Bathroom was huge and beautifully decorated with tiles. The bed was comfortable and large. We really enjoyed the breakfast menu which was very diverse. Plus the free tea and coffee in the lounge throughout the day/night was a really nice touch.

No traditional cooked breakfast. Anti-slip bath mat would have been useful. Not enough pillows, no more available when requested. Unusual not to have safety chain on internal bedroom door.

Style of decoration, bright colours and furniture used. Air conditioning. Continental breakfast produce was good quality and some locally sourced, gluten free available. High quality toiletries in bathroom with bath to ensuite. Flannels included with towel supply. Selection of complimentary hot drinks excellent, fresh milk, self-service from the guest kitchen, 24 hours availability. Honesty bar for alcohol, cold drinks and snacks. Safe deposits boxes at reception. Free Internet, good connection. TV in bedroom. DVD player with a selection of films in dining room. Leaflet of information to background of property. Staff friendly and approachable.

They're just little things: When I checked out, there was no receptionist or anyone to speak to at all, (I spent ten minutes looking) so there wasn't anyone to hand my keys in to. I just wanted to say that there was no shower gel, the shower needed attending to as it leaked more than it sprayed, the television didn't work, and that the only description on the booking was "There is an electric kettle in this room" which there wasn't. But I couldn't tell anyone, so I'm saying it here.

The receptionist was friendly, and the hotel was quirky; it felt like I was on holiday abroad.

It was quite hot in the room and the ventilator was not able to achieve the right temperature.

The location of this hotel is good, it’s next to a lot of busses and it is not very busy at night. The room was comfortable. Everything that you needed was there. The bathroom was really clean.

Lots of stairs up to room. Room a bit small. Pub next door was pretty noisy in the evening as we had our window open for air.

Breakfast wasn’t included with our booking, not sure why. Everything was clean and liked the decor and bathroom products. Great location for Denmark Hill.

Would have liked a kettle and cups in the room as there were a few flights of stairs between our room and the breakfast room where the free tea and coffee was!

Reception staff were helpful and friendly. We went early to drop our bags, but our room was ready, so we were allowed to check in early...which was great. Tea and coffee were free. An honesty bar was operational. Bed was comfortable.

The street is very busy and is noisy even late at night due to several bars in the vicinity as well as heavy vehicle traffic. (Honking, sirens etc)

Has a nice old christian monastery kind of vibes due to its interiors and decorations. Close to bus stops and local supermarkets and eateries. Overall value for money!

The shower was very basic, with fittings damaged and low water pressure. For the price paid for a night, this was disappointing and let down the rest of the accommodation.

The location is very good and the decor is well right out and packed with character. Comfortable bed and quiet room.

Street noise is the major negative . We booked 2 rooms the deluxe was low floor level right on the high street and made for an uncomfortable sleep . Standard was higher level and off street and much quieter.

The decor in the hotel is very cool , its quirky .
