Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe room is very small and even though I was only staying 2 nights it was quite cramped but to fit that comfy bed in, it does make sense and you're not going to be staying in the room all the time either. Also the lights on the bathroom are very dim, I even tried turning the knob and it didn't do anything. I didn't enjoy the food in the restaurant, when I had dinner, the chicken wings didn't taste of a sticky chilli, it was more like BBQ, they had a weird taste to them too. And my main was very disappointing I got the butter chicken, I was expecting an Indian style meal to come out with big chunks of chicken in an Indian butter sauce and a side of rice, but nope, frighteningly it was like a ready meal you would buy from Tesco's or Iceland for £1, it was all mixed together, and compacted into a circular shape and hardly any chicken, plus it didn't taste at all like butter chicken but your bog standard chicken curry and the worst part hardly any chicken and not even big chunks, I was scraping through the rice looking for it. And the garnish was lots of parsley in a circle around the circular compacted rice cake thing. It was not nice, but I was Hungry and I ate it but feel like I was ripped off as the whole dinner cost £30, literally felt like I should have went to Iceland and spent £6 and cooked it all myself lol 😂 the 24hr bar wasn't what I expected it to be, the whole bar was completely closed off at night and you had to order from reception and sit in reception to have your drink. Not impressive on that part.
The staff were very friendly, the room was beautiful, and it had a balcony, the bathroom was stunning and had everything you would need, the shower was perfect, very powerful and a nice heat. The room comes with a coffee machine with pods, 2 bottles of water, a packet of crisps, biscuits and chocolate. Very welcoming. The hall way to the rooms was so fancy and different to most hotels I've stayed in, the lift was very funky and covered in fake grass walls and a magnet board it was definitely something to write home about. I loved the location of the hotel, very close to everything in the centre. As well as the south Kensington tube station. They have pizza service 24hours I ordered one at 11.30pm at night and it was lovely. Highly recommend the pizza. There are also nice restaurants nearby, close to the train station.

United KingdomI think this hotel is a 4* and not a 5*. The complimentary drink on arrival is a nice touch, but when I said I didn't drink alcohol had to negotiate to have a soft drink instead of prosecco and I didn't bother getting the drink as the staff weren't very impressed I didn't drink alcohol (in this day and age that's not OK). The room finish and fixtures weren't all working, the light was broken and it was a bit tired. The room could do with some TLC.
We stayed in the Penthouse suite. It was a large room, quiet and very well finished. The bed was massive which was great. It had an amazing roof terrace and the room was soundproofed. The staff were very helpful at check-in and even gave us a later check out which we really appreciated. I would definitely stay in this hotel as the price is great, it's quirky and has a really fun and unique vibe which I appreciated.

United KingdomWe stayed in a standard double room, which although beautiful, was far too small. The large double bed was much too big for the room meaning moving around the room without bumping into the other furniture was almost impossible. The wardrobe was pretty inaccessible - extremely awkward to open the door without climbing over the bed, the other door of it was completely inaccessible. Really not fit for purpose. The lift is tiny, and dangerous - the door started to close on me while I was entering giving me a nasty crack on the head leaving a stripe of bruising down my forehead.
Great location and some lovely quirky features. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

United KingdomThe bedroom was very small and the bed was very low on the ground. Stayed 2 nights and the coffee machine pods were not refreshed and had to ask for more. There was no fridge or iron in the room. Had difficulty getting out of the bed as it was so close to the walls. There were four light switches next to each side of the bed and only one worked. There were led lights behind the headboard which did not work. There were no art in the bedroom considering it was an art hotel. Some of the neon light artwork was broken or not turned on. Definitely not a 5 star hotel.
The bathroom was clean and had a separate bath and shower and was well maintained. There was a nice large tv on the wall. Some nice artistic features. Staff were very nice and helpful.

United KingdomThe breakfast could have more traditional options for the price, and not just a small toaster. Would have been nice to warm up the pastries... but it is london prices and probably still alot cheaper than going elsewhere in the area.
Amazing hotel. Beautiful. Was surprised with a free upgrade. So appreciative. Wonderful stay with the comfiest best I've ever slept in. Great attention to detail and now probably the only hotel in London I will stay in going forward.

United KingdomRoom was lovely but quite cramped, little room to move around. For two 60 somethings was a bit challenging. Air conditioning didn’t work, although we should have reported this earlier and give the hotel time to look at it (so not a deal breaker).
Location of hotel was perfect, a short walk into South Kensington and tube. Very friendly and helpful staff, cocktails were good and well priced. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom very beautiful. Room stocked well with complimentary water and snacks as well as usual tea/coffee facilities.
