They didn’t clean our room and what we read indicated they cleaned the room daily. We had no safe and could have used one.

Breakfast was satisfactory. Comfortable lounge and good cocktails.

A perfect start to my tour of Scotland 2024.

Possibly the offer of a take away breakfast bun or roll ? That was the only negative feature but was a common fault at several of the hotels that I stopped at during my tour. 06.45 / 07.00 Continental style breakfast should be easy to put on.

Hotel in good location & plenty of car parking space. Staff very friendly & helpful. A comfortable room but view out ion to car park. OK as only staying one night. As I had to make an early start I did not have breakfast. It is an interesting ' character ' property with fine stained glass windows and a nice change from ultra mod modern properties.

Rooms were lacking a bit of detail: there were no water glasses in our room, and although there was a do not disturb sign, you could not hang it on the door. We would have appreciated a bit more clothes storage (a chest of drawers or even a few hooks by the door) Breakfast was a bit basic and disorganised.

Great location by Loch Lomond and a beautiful recently refurbished hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice with a comfortable bed and all the public areas were beautifully decorated and comfortable.

A little outdated, not enough pressure in the shower, but nothing to cry out about.

Well situated and comes with all the things. Has a "used-to-be-grand" feel to it, which we enjoyed.

The room was very clean and fairly comfortable and towels changed every day. I didn’t like the night light which wouldn’t turn off and the plug sockets were hard to access. The breakfast is ok as there is good variety and you can order extras such as fried eggs which is great but the coffee facilities could be improved as it was a bit weak for me .

The location is very good as close to the Munros that we wanted to climb. It is also close to many other amenities and has beautiful views. The best thing about our stay was the staff who were all very happy, friendly and helpful. We needed a massage after our hill walking which Lesley arranged for us and we were delighted with the location which was in Arrochar in Cherry’s treatment rooms. Lesley, Tracey, Tom, Saskia and Mark were all brilliant . We would definitely visit again.

The room was a little cold, was a large room however ! Don't think the room was the best in the Hotel, was not much of a view of the Loch from a Premium Loch View room Room 133, bathroom had some sort of stains on the walls,

Great location next to Loch Lomond, shame the Loch front area is a construction site at the moment, it seems the Loch Front visiting area is being extended, not a fault of the Hotel however. Great staff, all the staff were really good. Good food, great steak pie !!! Large room and comfortable beds

It was very cold at night and the heater was turned off at the time it was needed the most. We couldn't access the loch straight from the hotel due to construction works but it wasn't the fault of the hotel.

We liked the food, it was nice and tasty. The bedroom was cute.

I’m not sure if the waiting staff were new but they couldn’t get our order right and were painfully slow. They seemed to be in over their heads, wandering around aimlessly until prompted as to what to do by someone else. We also didn’t like having to pay a daily charge to use the carpark and having to pay every time you leave and come back (even on the same day)

Position of the hotel was perfect, across from the Loch. The room, facing the Loch was spacious and contained everything we needed.

Staff need to pay more attention and actually engage with clients!

Staff never made much effort to even have eye contact on arrival and during our stay. Room was stuffy and warm and the window couldnt be opened very far for any decent airflow. Toilet seat was broken. Restaurant breakfast was okay but again staff were not overly attentive or helpful. Had dinner at the Slanj pub up the road and it was a great experience, well worth dining there.

Didn’t feel welcome with reception staff. The carpet outside the toilets smells awful. Desperate for a make over, very tired. So scruffy the view from our room at the back. Looks derelict. Such a shame.
