The service charge at the bar, I think for residents this charge should be wavered, it wasn’t an extortionate amount but the two drinks were expensive enough.

Beautiful gardens, and recently renovated to a very high standard. We had a memorable dinner in their restaurant. Our meal was a credit to the skilled chef. Quality, innovative and delicious and delightful staff.

The only small issue was the stairs. There was no accessible room available despite a written request at booking. But, the room was fabulous once you got there.

The hotel staff and services have improved vastly since a visit a few years ago. The current staff is very helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was prompt, very good, and included a great view.

Rooms in the coach house are not soundproof, we could hear everything in the hallways and neighbouring rooms.

The setting and gardens are beautiful. The main building is wonderfully decorated with a truly old English feel

A wonderful property, excellent service, very nice location, exceptional dinner. The suite we booked had a pleasant surprise for us, which I will not disclose, because you have to experience the „wow“ effect for yourselves!

At 4am people were walking in the corridor and going in and out so the door kept slamming shut really loud which kept waking me up.

A beautiful stately building in lovely grounds. At reception we were invited to be seated whilst we booked in. We were given a free upgrade on our room. The room itself was lovely. Hotel staff members were warm and friendly.

Loveley historic building retaining many of its original features, I stayed in a junior suite the converted stables which were appointed to a very high standard, freindly staff and just a quiet peacefull location to rest but literally 15 minutes from where I needed to be the following morning

I didn't like that for the next couple of mornings the breakfast was served in a buffet style and my opinion was just a normal English breakfast. You had some yogurt, cereal, pastry, butter, jam and honey. Nothing out of the ordinary given the fact how much it costs a night there. When the food was served, it was at a very minimum temperature (not hot), by the time you were finishing it, the last few bites were cold. The drive way, when it rains is a bit muddy.

I liked the location. The staff was amazing, every morning they would replace the coffee pods, biscuits and water in the room. I liked the breakfast on the 1st morning, it was a la carte. The grounds are really nice to walk around. The room was really cozy and warm. The bed was comfortable. The food was a la carte, but I would have expected better service, better food

The gardens are amazing here! Location is perfect - not too far from Oxford and close to Bicester village for those looking to say near. Staff are amazing - helpful and informative. Breakfast was included and was fantastic. Dinner looked very nice although we were off to somewhere else. Highly recommend.
