One small thing. The bathroom door in the bedroom was difficult to open and shut. Room 3.

Food was great, room and bed very comfortable. The pub was lively and a great place to stay for me and my group of friends. The service was very good.

The rooms smelled of cleaning products. Maybe windows need to be opened more often.

Quiet although on a fairly major road. Good breakfast and dinner.

No mirror on dressing table, there was a full length one on the door, there was a bit of a step into the shower,( I have a few mobility issues)

The cleaning ladies I spoke to were lovely, very friendly, The first day of breakfast the chef over cooked the sausage and bacon, second breakfast was really good, even changed my egg for me, definitely more friendly, room very clean so was bathroom, shower was powerful, little bottles of toiletries and a couple of soap bars, bed was soft which was fine, asked for extra pillows on first night, they brought me pillows within 30 minutes. Also had a little mint on the bed, which was a lovely touch.

The entrance hall to the rooms had a horrid musty damp smell. I think they have probably had an ingress of water at some point as there was a dehumidifier in place. Having said that the room itself didn’t smell

The rooms are in a separate annex to the pub. All rooms are on the ground floor but it feels safe with the security in place. We had a twin bedded room which was ample in size with a big shower room, tea and coffee making facilities. There a water dispenser in the corridor The car park is huge and has electric charging bays. The pub feels like s traditional English pub serving good food. The breakfast is well organised with you filling in a request form the night before

Apart from the Roman palace excavated in the village there are few facilities - nearest shop some 2 miles away.

The accommodation was in an annexe beside the large car park, but our room faced away from it, and was excellently presented - immaculately clean, with every reasonable need met. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful.

The mattresses could do with being replaced with new ones very soon as you tend to roll to the centre of the bed and they are very thin.

We were welcomed with a smile and given all the information that we needed. The service and staff were first class. The food was freshly cooked to order and delicious. I would return to this establishment.

Sadly our room 8, was at the far right end of the annex and next door to a house, where I'm assuming they smoked in the garden, which drifted through our window, which was not pleasant.

Lovely pub, friendly and helpful staff, easy to find not far from the main road. Plenty of carparking spaces. Comfortable clean accommodation in a separate annex at the back of the pub, all rooms on ground level. Good WiFi. Good selection of meals on the menu. Decent breakfast included in the price.

It was the hottest week of the year and the fans made little difference to the temperature in the room. Are you thinking of air conditioning?

One shared iron and hairdryer between about ten rooms. Definitely not a complaint, just worth knowing if you're staying too

Lovely friendly staff, free parking, good location right on a regular bus route, decent cooked breakfast and a small fridge freezer for guests to share.

Bed was a little sloppy. Toilet cistern seemed to fill for a long time. Road noise at night was a little annoying but not too bad. Traffic on main resorts and getting to the main beaches was worse than expected.

Staff very helpful, breakfast good, car parking easily available, access to room was good. Thank you for cold water dispenser and fan as it was very hot while we stayed.

Pleasantly surprised by our stay. Asked if we were able to have our room early as we wanted to check in , change and attend our friends wedding before official check in at 2pm. Couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Room was ready 2 hours early, clean , nice fresh and clean linen. It is not sumptuous but suited us very nicely. Liked the cold water dispenser in foyer and a fridge freezer guests can use for their own food/ drink - not bad when you are staying at a pub. We had a full English breakfast it is was very nice , think it could have been fresh from a farm shop , it was definitely very good quality and made only when you came down for breakfast. Plenty of tea ,coffee and juice with make your own toast and cereal before you sit down. Ample parking, even had an electric car charging point. Very happy with our stay and am delighted to recommend The Woolpack Inn
