An oasis of natural beauty and tranquility adorning the feel and ambiance of Dubrovnik. The apartment is so beautiful with all the amenities you could require. Immaculately clean, huge comfortable beds with sublime sheets and pillows. For a very peaceful night sleep. Large balcony with seating areas. Stunning private pool with ample Sunbeds. The apartments are steps away from the local bus, little supermarket and wine/coffee shops and patisseries. Would 100% recommend and the icing on the cake is the wonderful host Maria with lots of local information on the best places to eat,drink and tour.

Only one pillow this is me being very picky and also a personal preference but I prefer 2 sleep with 2 pillows

It’s hard to say there was any problems at all The only thing would be is to maybe have a light on entering doorway from the street as the steps going up are just inside the door.

Maria was so friendly and a natural host. The advice and recommendations she gave were much welcomed. The bed and pillows were sooooo comfy and the room clean and well equipped. Would recommend to friends and family Thank you Maria

It was a nice cosy apartment , with a pool outside with sun loungers. The rooms were of decent size and had a mini kitchen which was great for a nice morning cup of tea.

A great property, spacious, clean, tidy and with everything a self-catering apartment should have, great location to explore Dubrovnik, plenty of local shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, short walk to beach, local bus stop to get into Old Town, apartment has private pool and lounger area for guests use, Maria the owner was there to meet us and explain everything about apartment, local area, sites to see, recommendations for restaurants, bars, local travel details, really friendly warm exceptional welcome.

Personal welcome from host and her genuine desire for all guests to have a good stay….plus a Pool !Accommodation is on a good bus route into Dubrovnik- No 4 bus goes every 15 mins . Supermarket and restaurants in walking distance.

This is a great apartment - very spacious with every detail thought through. Great location on a road directly to the Old City and to Sunset Beach with a useful cafe - the Belvedere- just across the road. Maria the hostess is absolutely wonderful and gave us lots of useful tips. We had a great time!

Just one minor point - the road below the balconies is quite busy most of the time, just something to bear in mind for those who prefer things quiet or with very young children.

Wonderful stay at California Apartments. Marija was a delight as a host, she couldn’t have been more helpful. The apartment was clean and modern with two balconies. The pool was great and was available to guests up to 10pm. The best way to travel into the old town is on the Number 4 bus, which runs regularly, day and night, and drops passengers right outside Pile Gate. Locally, it’s a fairly short walk to the nearest beach and the amazing ‘cave bar’ – def worth a visit. The area feels safe and friendly, and there are shops, bakeries and a café within a few minutes’ walk of the apartments.

The property was very clean, a short walk to Lapad and only a 10 minute bus into Dubrovnik (which were every 15 minutes). Maria was a great host, she gave lots of recommendations of what to do and see during our stay and was always on the end of the phone!

Maria was an amazing host. She helped connect us with great places to visit and offered plenty of recommendations on great local options. The location is phenomenal. Very easy access to Old Town via bus and walking distance to the port and Sunset beach. Amazing stay. Will definitely come back!!

The host Maria is really lovely- helpful, kind, professional- we felt very welcome. The whole accommodation and pool area is very nicely done. There was plenty of space and everything was very well looked-after - including the plants! :-) Maria made us feel that nothing was too much trouble if we needed help or information about anything. Access to the old town was very easy by a short bus ride, and it's just a short walk to the local beach area (Uvala Lapad) with nice restaurants and a stunning coastal path.

The California Apartment’s are ideally located between Lapad and the old city and Bus no. 4 is available every 15mins to bring you to the old city. Apartments are spotless and the host Maria is incredible. From the moment we arrived she was so informative, so kind and so helpful in everything we done. Her suggestions are the best so please do what she says as it’s her intention to make your holiday so special

California apartments was in a fantastic location as it was right by the bus stop to old town, super close to a supermarket and only a short walk to the beach. The pool facilities were amazing, was super clean. My room facilities were spotless as well. Our host Maria was the best we could of asked for and made us feel so welcome

For what we were looking for - not much we didn't like.

Host is an absolute legend - made all the family feel very welcome. Nice bottle of wine on arrival too. Location is great for certain parts of the city. Lovely pool too.
