Everything was great.

Very good location, close to Split, Makarska and all the beaches. Plenty of restaurants around by walking distance. The beach is just few steps (literally 1 min) outside the villa which is great. Plenty of sunbeds (free).

Air conditioning was blowing to strong, or not blowing at all. Location is good because of the perfect beach, but there are nowhere to take a walk, you need a car to go somewhere for a walk. Also, if hotel is full, you need to get up early to reserve sun chairs

This is our 2nd time in this hotel, which is located right on the very nice beach. Room was nice, with 2 big comfortable beds, big balcony with nice sea view. Breakfast doesn't have big selection, but very tasty. Food in hotel's restaurant is very good, not cheap though.

Only complaint I could find is that sometimes it is not so easy to get seated in the restaurant at night, but this is due to high amount of visitors, and to hotel. Waiters are not very friendly, but I guess it is the Croatian thing, overall service was good.

Very good hotel, exceeded my expectations. Hotel has its own private beach, with no problems getting sunchairs. Water is very clean. Room was spacious and clean, with everything needed. Great sea view. Very good breakfast, and very tasty food in the restaurant.

We only stayed at Villa Mario for one night but we loved it. The property is right on the Adriatic -there's a restaurant attached to the property. They have a beachfront cafe as well. They also have sun chairs and umbrellas. Breakfast was included and it was lovely. Would highly recommend Villa Mario,

It is a grat location to visit Spilt and any other towns. Accommodation is very close to the sea. Very friendly owner and staf. Good meals in the restaurante. Nice and clear water at the beach.

The Villa Mario has an own restaurant and it was very good. But in the town, in Podstrana we could hardly find an another restaurant to eat. We had to go to Split.

The hotel was on the sea-side. The breakfast was very good, when we arrived during the night, we received some food.The owner was helpful., the room wa clean and it was comfortable.

The towels need to be replaced they are very old. The location is too far from Split and you will need your own transport to get around. Staff could be a little more friendly to guests. The breakfast buffet only starts at 8 am, which is quite late in the day if you want to get to Split and do sightseeing. Breakfast was very basic.

The beachfront was pretty. Coffee was nice at breakfast. Free parking.

breakfast was empty or just left overs at 0830. Tip go direct at 08.00. parking could only park one day at reserved parking full otherwise. when cleaning room they did not clean toilet. they dont take amex (strange as we booked it via amex, but on site they did not take it)

It would be absolutely perfect place if not a few "but". First 2 mornings we needed to ask for eggs, for vegetables, for cornflakes, for milk, for plates. It was a little bit annoying. But maybe it was because of "low season"( we stayed in the middle of June). And breakfast was very basic. I had higher expectations from the previous reviews. When we arrived, we found ants in our room. Only on the second day, after second warning, lady with white powder came to "rescue" us. Wi-fi in the room was bad. But at the beach it was good. Saturday evening was noisy, because it was a party in the restaurant straight under our balcony. And closed balcony doors didn't help. And you can hear the noise from the street in the mornings ( for us it wasn't a problem).

It is a small hotel next to the beach. There you find a restaurant as well. It is a perfect match for relaxing holidays. Wonderful view through the balcony. Beds were comfortable. They clean room and change towels every day. Staff was helpful. Hotel guests are allowed to use sunbeds and umbrellas for free. Kids can buy ice-cream during all the day. The area is quite crowdy during day. There are some parking places dedicated to the hotel guests. If you want to take a bus to Split, there is a bus stop only 3 min walking from the hotel.

The cost of some of the meals in the restaurant can be expensive. This is because they charge extra for fries. Other restaurants nearby did not do this.

Great location right on the beach with fantastic views and sunsets. Room was nice with comfortable beds, good air con and mini fridge. Breakfast was a typical Croatian breakfast with fresh bread and warm croissants. The food did run out continually but was soon replenished by staff.
