Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No room to sit and relax. Only small round tables for two persons in the corridor, outside the guest rooms....
Breakfast was very poor. Did not include the basics such as tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs

Room was small. And breakfast very limited.
Location was superb. Close to train station and all amenities. 10 minute walk to Trevi fountain.

Only issue we had was a non-working fridge. The staff was nice and let us use the fridge of the kitchen. My room was on the ground-floor, nonetheless you have to go upstairs (just like half a storey) to arrive to the hotel entrance, so just to keep that in mind. They charged 15€ per night for the dog, which might be a bit high considering we werent given any additional stuff for the dog (like a food plate or ammenities like that) but they were transparent when I made the reservation about the extra charges.
Despite the room with the window at the street, the street is calm and the windows are sound proof, worked well. Everything clean and a very variate breakfast buffet-type. I was a bit reluctant looking at the reviews of the place but was pleasently surprised. Also, we had a dog with us and there was no issue. Really nice staff and really helpful.

We could hear a lot of noise, especially from the street through the windows (but from the corridor through the doors) - so we had trouble having a very good night sleep :-(
Great location, walking distance from Termini station and super close to Piazza Reppublica. Decent standard (especially in comparison to other Rome hotels at that price, in this location) Super helpful personnel. We were able to check-in early, and leave the bags at the reception after checkout.

Room was quite small
Very convenient location about 15 min walk from Termini train station. 20 minute walk to forum area and several nearby museums. Single room very small but comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, but given beneficial price point, not an issue.

The cleanness, it’s not a 3 star hotel, it’s a 2 star. It wasn’t clean, the room was small, the bathroom was old.

Nice breakfast and a great location.. Walking distance to train, Colosseum, Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Lots of pizza and Gelato nearby.

Room size was not appropriate for our family, room was too small, bathroom to small and old. We had an open hole in the ceiling of our room from the air conditioning/aspiration ..you could hear noises in the morning from people going to have breakfast..

The room has only one socket for charging phone near the bed. The second one has only USB that does not support fast charge. The cleaning service folded our wet towels and left it without changing.
The hotel is located in the good place near subway station and not far from the center and close to the train station Termini. It costs good price for this condition. The breakfast was good. The staff was really polite.

The mattress was rather hard. The bathroom had a sewer smell, needed to keep door to it closed at all times. Window faced walls.
You get what you pay for - room was tiny and dark but clean and good enough to spend a night if you're only there to sleep. Staff was friendly, breakfast had sufficient selection.

Poor facilities, no tea/coffee making facilities in our room. Breakfast was hit or miss, seems like first come first served as some mornings there was very little food left.

poor soundproofing: we were living on the 1st floor near to the reception and we could hear everything. It was annoying during night time. Also it was quite cold in our room
Hotel staff is really great! We had a problem with our bathroom door (it was locked) early morning and the lady from the reception helped us right away. Also breakfast was good
