We had a great stay at Vatican Town. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room gets cleaned everyday, which is a big plus for us. Even though the hotel is right at the street, there is no noise to disturb you.

I highly recommend Bed & Breakfast Vatican Town, everything was top class! We are very pleased with our stay. Great location close to Vatican (less than 10 minutes walk) and Ottaviano metro station (metro line A), plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The owner is very friendly, smiled and helpful. Massimiliano, thank you again for your warm welcome! The rooms are spacious and clean, (cleaned every day). A nearby cafe where you can eat breakfast serves delicious coffee and freshly squeezed juice. While there, I recommend delicious ice cream, one of the best I've ever eaten! The pistachio flavor is amazing!

Walls are so thin, we could hear people talking 8:30 in the corridor or hearing opening their doors.

I enjoyed a pleasant stay. The room was clean, equipped with essentials, and received daily cleaning. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location, just minutes from the metro and a short walk to the Vatican, added to the overall convenience. Recommended for a comfortable stay.

Would have appreciated to get some bottles of water. But we weren’t in much so didn’t really matter.

The place was close to famous landmarks and the city centre. Very close to bus and metro and the staff was friendly too. Our roomed got cleaned everyday and we even got to leave our luggage for many hours after check out because we had a late flight. They were also very responsive on WhatsApp and mobile during our stay.

Watch the step up and out of the shower. Needs some grab rails. Otherwise no complaints

Location excellent access to Metro system and Buses. Bus 81 close by take you direct to central Rome. Lots of choice for food. It also has a lift which is a bonus.

The downside is that the bed and breakfast does not have a reception area, so if you arrive at an ungodly hour like midnight, nobody will assist or meet you because the owner do not live there. Hence, we have to agree to pay 40 euros for somebody to meet us upon our arrival at midnight so that we can get the keys to our room, main door and elevator. Also the wifi is non existent at all hours of the day, they provided us wifi access, 2 actually, but the signal is too weak to none so no use to us, good thing we have our own data plan

The location is very near Vatican City, around 500 meters away, and the room is spacious complete with amenities, breakfast is ok too but you have to take it to a nearby cafe restaurant which is ok with us as there is no time limit within the day. We stayed there for 4 days and I think it was worth the price we paid. The room is also cleaned daily but you have to vacate it before 11am, otherwise it will be cleaned the following day.

The beds were a bit like camp beds for comfort and the single pillow lacked substance

- WiFi reception was not great - had to use my own hotspot. - insufficient shower gel but plenty of liquid soap which sufficed. - no communal facility which would have been an added bonus

- room very clean and spacious with air con and fridge - very helpful welcoming staff - helped with directions/ bookings etc - staff helped with car transfers both ways - great area with loads of restaurants nearby - very near metro and bus links - stored luggage free of charge on day of departure - would recommend to others and stay again

The bathroom was a little dated and could do with a refresh but was clean and the water was hot. No permanent reception so contact them just before you arrive, you’ll get a bunch of keys to open all the doors.

The room was as described, wide and cozy, the bed comfortable, but the plus was the assistance and the care the owner takes in helping his customers. At some point it started raining and she offer me an umbrella.

Only downfall is if you wanted fresh towels you had to pay €5 which I think should be included in the price you pay for the room.

The location was perfect just a short walk away from the Vatican. And plenty of restaurants very close by. A safe area to stay for a solo traveller.

It is not a proper hotel, just a bed & bath apartment with so many locks to unlock to reach your room, it feels kind of weird specially when you are traveling with the family.

Location is right there in Vatican. Many restaurants and eateries nearby. The room was good and noise free.

The room was clean and good.. and the staff were very kind. But the breakfast we were asked to collect from Lemon Grass on Saturday and Sunday was too poor.. They just gave one croissant and a coffee for breakfast.. nothing more..!

Great location. Extremely kind and friendly host. Traditional old roman apartment building with high ceilings, windows etc. Clean, even though the furniture and fixtures somewhat dated. All in all a great place to be in Rome , especially due to the proximity to the Vatican Museum and subway. The only minus was the price (@200 EUR / night), even though in comparison with the other rooms / apartments for rent this was was on the less pricey end of the spectrum. All in all, given the market and the offers at the time, it was a good deal. And did I mention the friendly host? :) Thank you :)
