The villa is quite a distance from the train station. While you can take a bus from the train station, I recommend taking a taxi if you have luggage, as the buses are often packed and don't come very frequently.

The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, providing a perfect retreat. A shopping mart is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to pick up essentials. The villa offers a private onsen, which was a fantastic addition to the stay, and they have an efficient system to know when the onsen is occupied. The free breakfast was a great start to the day, and the cozy shared area with complimentary coffee and tea was a nice touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the free toiletries provided were a nice bonus.

I enjoyed my stay in this place. I would highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly. The private onsen was amazing. There are no restaurants nearby to have dinner, but the hotel would provide free transportation service to the restaurants in Nikko.

Lack of eateries for night time dining within walking distance. But there us a well stocked Lawons Food Store about 700m away

This accomodation has a warm and homely feel .The rooms were comfortable but having the shared lounge dining area added to the space you could occupy and a chance to catch up with other guests. The two private onsen bathrooms were a luxurious after a day on your feet visiting temples or walking in Nikko National Park. The breakfast of delightful tasty pastries was excellent. The only down side was that it is hard to find restaurants to eat at night, close by and the buses from Nikko town (2kms) stop at 7pm. Most cafes and small eateries seem to close by 3 or 4pm when we were there in April. We highly recommend this lovely place.

Be aware that the hotel doesn't serve dinner, and there were really few options nearby at the time we were there.

Very cosy place to stay in Nikko. The common area is very nice with lovely furniture in a cosy atmosphere. The onsen is really enjoyable after spending the day discovering Nikko's area. We really enjoyed the yukata rental for free. They were beautiful and comfortable. Great breakfast with a nice choice of sweet and savoury pastries. We enjoyed our stay in Nikko very much

This place was beautiful and has a lovely private onsen for guests to use. The room was a great size and breakfast was simple but enough to start the day off with a bang. Lovely property set outside of the town, but close enough to get the bus in, has friendly staff and a soothing vide. Would recommended and so glad we stayed here but 1 night was not enough.

Google Maps brought us to the beach of the building instead of the front entrance…. That’s literally our only complaint. This place was great.

The property was right on the main road and offered a private onsen. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff.

It was quite a way from restaurants in Nikko, and taxis were not available.

It was a charming b&b, with a nice sento, the lounge area was very nice and inviting. There is a wonderful walk behind the hotel to Kanmangafuchi Abyss which is a must to see the cemetery and the jizos lining the river. It was stunning.

Location is a little far out from the Nikko town area and the nearest supermarket is a bit of a walk away. If you're driving however, it wouldn't be an issue.

The hotel had a very cozy and homely feeling. I liked the lounge area with the small fireplace. Onsen was very spacious and clean. There were daily necessities (shampoo, body wash, facial wash & skin care) and a hair dryer. Room for a solo traveler was big and comfy. The receptionist was very friendly and I liked the information booklet that showed dining options around the area. I also liked how we could choose from a variety of pastries for breakfast, coffee and tea was also provided. Overall, I really liked my stay and would definitely come again when I visit Nikko!

The onsen was great because the whole family could go in at once and the lounge area was really nice for the little one because of the play corner. The breakfast was mostly pastries which was a nice change of pace from the Japanese style breakfasts we had at other places we stayed on the trip. Overall was great and no real complaints from me.
