Not clean at all, very poor condition of the facility but you get what you pay for I guess. Good enough to just sleep for a few nights.

Bathrooms and toilets were not tidy. Bath was horrible. Tub had lots of loose tiles, there was mold on floor seams, water was not hot.

The room was very tiny, we didn't have enough hangers and it was freezing. The booking is very confusing, so be careful when you check if the room has toilets or not. The sinks didn't have hot water, and the corner of those were very dirty, so I used the "do not gaze into the abyss, for it not to gaze into you" technique and avoided looking, but it was still there.

The room is provide only Toilet. NO SHOWER. If u want shower outside room. The advertisement quite confusing. The room not clean and odour. The blanket was dirty and smelly. There is hole in blanket (refer to the picture). The toilet not clean and smelly. Not suitable for holiday. We booked for 4nights unfortunately we only stayed 1night because of the uncomfortable place. We ask the manager for charges only 1 night but they refused. So for us this is not good hotel and policy. Bad. The hotel quite old and dirty. Maybe they should deep cleaning for sustain in hotel industry.

Only showers on the three first floors. Everything is dirty and the toilets smells of pis. The room wasn't very clean either (dust and hairballs on the floor). Our room was right next to the main road, very noisy at all hours (even on the 7th floor).

The location is great in terms of public transportation. Lots of things to do within walking distance. Reception open 24hours. Close to many convenience stores. Very affordable.

While a great value, I have basic standards for cleanliness. This hotel did not meet them. It was, unfortunately, dirty. I was afraid to touch surfaces that weren't commonly used. The "spa" was grungy with loose tiles and very rusty. There were times when there was no cold water and so showers were unbearably hot.

The staff were helpful and the hotel was quiet. They let you change out your towels daily and provide room turnover on request. The linens were clean. The AC worked.

I had a Japanese room, basic and small, the very definition of minimalism, but I find it a great experience to try this kind of accommodation while in Japan. For two nights stay it was all I needed. The place is very close to 2 metro stations and that's a big advantage. The location is great. The toilets and showers are shared but I found them vacant all the time I needed to use them, morning, late evening, o this didn't bothered me at all. I would stay here again, the price was very good so I could save money for other experiences or trips there.

The pantry hygiene. The cooking facilities and the microwave is really dirty. I used to stay here more than 10 times before covid. But after covid this place has change.the hotel not really care about the cleanest of the common room area. For those who hygienic.. This place is not for you. For me i am okay with it. As long as i get private room to stay. Hope the hostel can take care the cleanest of their pantry.

The location, few step from dobutsuenmae stations. Less than 10 minutes to namba station, 2nd is the price... Good for budget travelers. U can get a private rooms with price as low as not more than 20usd.

Well, as this is a old and cheap hotel, it seems outdated and "looks" dirty. There were multiple stains on my bedroom walls. The sento was smaller then expected and there was only one bath and no dry sauna.

Good location. The clerck was friendly and helpful. I also really like the 80's vibe and the sento. for the price I paid it was a good deal. It's fine for one night but I wouldn't stay longer.

Look You get what you pay for , so we didn’t expect much and we’re just looking for a cheap place for the night close to the station. It’s pretty grim and the area can be sketchy at night. The Bathrooms and common areas are quite dirty unlike most places in Japan which are super clear. I wouldn’t stay in this place if I was travelling alone put it that way.. but a great option if you have a super early flight and are not spending a significant amount of time.
