The room was very small. Bathroom was kind of broken, there was a leak and toilet seat was twisted. There was quite cold in the room as well.

The price was very good. There was a few vending machines. The place was quite and it was near metro station. Train station was also not so far away. There was a lot of power outlets.

Nice location! It is near Ueno station, which is convenient for me, who travels from Narita Airport using the Skyliner. The check-in was smooth. The trainee who served us did a great job. She explained things clearly, and there was no communication issue as well. Kudos to her! The room was nice. It was clean, tidy, and relatively spacey. I love the amenities, too! I like the way they provide some amenities in the lobby so that guests can choose what they need. Lastly, as a smoker, I really appreciate that they have a smoking area in the lobby. Overall, I got what I needed and had a great time in this hotel. This hotel is the first one in my trip and is beyond my expectations. It sets the high bar of what I would expect from the rest of the accommodations during the trip.

There are a lot of stairs in front of this hotel, so it's not convenient for customers with luggage. Wonder if they can design a handicapped path or elevator.

The location is very convenient. The room size is bigger than other hotels I stayed in Japan. 3 things I like the best: 1. The pillow is super comfort. I want to know where to buy this kind of pillow and buy one for myself. 2. There is a part in the mirror in bathroom that doesn't affect by steam. Wonder what they used to keep it that way. 3. Staff is very helpful. The safe doesn't work in our room, 2 staff came to help and solve the problem.

They changed from fabulous buffet breakfast to bento box breakfast that the restaurant employee defrost and heat-up frozen bento box. We have a choice among 6 different menus. This is very disappointing compared to the buffet style before Covid. The hotel clerk told me that they had to change this way due to the Covid turmoil. But there are many other hotel offering buffet breakfast. The room is Japanese standard size (for even an average size Japanese it is a little bit tight). Everything is compact and functional (usually). In my case, a safety box didn’t work, there was a leak out of bathtub water drain system. I mentioned it to the hotel clerk. He answered that they will send someone for repair, but no follow up was given on the following day.

Location is good, 3 minutes walk to the subway station (Inari-cho), 7 minutes to Ueno JR station, 9 minutes to Ameyoko shopping district with plenty of street food restaurants. Also near to Ueno park, Zoo and museums.

Walking distance from Skyliner Narita. It is a quiet neighborhood. Accessible to nearby train stations, shops and restaurants. Facilitated our luggage transfer to Osaka Hotel - this made our trip more convenient. Hotel room is clean. Room is very spacious for our need.

Rooms are very small - but that is pretty normal for budget rooms in Tokyo. Breakfast was very basic.

Location was great, a short flat walk from Ueno station. Plenty of places to eat and check out near to Ueno station. Close to metro stop.

The room size is good. Location is about 800 meters from Ueno train station but close to Inaricho station. Within a walking distance to Ameyoko, Ueno Park, and Takeya shopping center if you like walking. Staff speaks good English. And the best thing is they keep your luggage without charge if you will go away for a few days and will come back to stay with them.

The air extractor of the bathroom, it could be better. When I finished my bath the bathroom remain wet a lot of time.

I really enjoy the location, it was perfect to travel all around Tokyo because the hotel is near a subway station. Also, the room was really clean. The check in was easy and the staff is truly kind.

Cleaning can do better. Some days they forget to vaccuum and sometimes even forget complementary pajamas but you can ask for it at reception.

- in the Queen-bed rooms I stayed 21-22/2 and 26-28/2, the curtain in bathroom had bad smell. Twin rooms have no problem. -had to carry luggages over stairs at the front of the hotel ( no slope) . it’s just a few step but it’d be nicer if there’s a slope. - had to carry laundry to the adjacent hotel , would be nice if the hotel has its own laundry room.

I’ve 3 bookings of this hotel in this trip ( total 6 nights) . I’ll sum up in this review. - friendly and helpful staff, quick to solve problem, did not hesitate to talk to guests who didn’t have good manner ( playing loud music at late night) -understand English -Good location -very comfortable bed and pillows -reasonable price -can keep luggages for many night for free as long as you have next booking here ( pls check with the hotel first, I don’t know the maximum days they’ll allow)
