No shared kitchen so we couldn't do our own meals - wasn't a big deal for our short stay

We arrived very early in the morning, they picked us up from another hotel and fortunately were able to get our room ready 4 hours earlier! They gave us good advice being intermediate boarders on which mountains to access. They cooked us breakfast every morning. Something different on the menu each day we were there. They will personally drive you to close locations. They also helped us with luggage delivery :)

The shower was a solid 2/10. Minimal water pressure and a dingy spray head. Still able to have a shower but I wouldn't get excited about a nice hot shower after being in the snow. One night down eating pizza, the staff seemed to be a little too comfortable around the bar. One was making another cocktails while they were lounging around like it was their house. Just seemed to come off a bit unprofessional.

Good location with a comfortable bed. Pizzas made downstairs that were perfect after a long travel day and after skiing.

Breakfast options are limited if you have dietary requirements. But we made it work.

Staff are friendly and happy to help whenever you need something. The room was spacious and tatami mats were comfortable. The location was also pretty close to the ski slopes.

No hot water for first 3 days, but they did make arrangements for showering at a neighbouring hotel.

When I closed the curtains there isn't a stopper and they ran off the rails, I spent 10 minute sputting it all back together. The shower pressure isn't great, and I really wanted a good shower after a day skiing. The floor in the bathroom and toilet is slate, and it is freezing. The toilet was freezing, except for the seat. There needs to be a sign or instructions given to get people to put their shoes in cupboards provided. There needs to be seating outside the dry room to swap shoes, it's either outside or inside but you aren't allowed to swap inside and you walk in water to get slippers if you take boots off outside.

Staff were friendly and picked us up from the train station. If you asked the staff for something, they would help. They organised our ski passes for us. Breakfast was very basic but each day there is a chef's special which is really good 👍 The room is spacious enough and has Netflix and Google TV. The heating in the main room worked well. There is a goat track to walk down to Happo gondola, about a 15 minute walk. You can also walk around via the road into town.

Cozy hotel with kind staff. They think along and help with your plans and are willing to give you a ride. The staff is fluent in English. The rooms are large with soft beds. The bus to the ski areas is in front of the hotel.

Staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Easy to get to all ski resorts as the free shuttle is a 2 minute walk away. Hakuba central is a short 5-10min walk down the hill. Great breakfasts and nice common room where you can meet other travellers.

breakfast area needs to be set up better as guests had to reach across food to access cups, toaster, hot water etc.A longer narrower table may be a better option.

My Stay was really nice, especially the breakfast is amazing!! The communication was really nice too, if you have any questions everyone is there for helping you. The Location was nice too, there was a shuttle bus nearby to the lifts!

Not much not to like.

Very friendly staff who will help with restaurant bookings, advice and lifts to nearby locations if they are not too busy. So convenient to have a hot breakfast everyday to let you get straight out to the slopes.Delicious pizza option at night as well.

breakfast is good and changed daily , staff is helpful and freindly, they served the best pizza in town. There is not a lot of restaurants around the hotels but generally we could enjoy our stay

Distance to everything is a bit far. Need to walk 10-15 minutes to get to city center for dinner or onsen. 5 minute walk to ski shuttle bus every morning with full gear.

Large rooms with private shower and bathroom. Dry room for convenient storage of ski/snowboarding equipment every day. Breakfast is great with some variation each morning. Nice and responsive staff. Pick up and drop off service to/from bus terminal.

Absolutely nothing, everything was great!

Morino lodge was fantastic, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff were very welcoming and accomodating, the daily breakfast was great and had good variety. The staff also gave us recommendations on the best places to ski and restaurants which we really appreciated as it was our first time in Hakuba. Overall the lodge was great value for money, definitely would stay again. Thank you Morino Lodge.
