Hotel is old and tired looking, could do with a refurb but for the price point it was exactly what I was expecting. Air con was troublesome, but we could open the window for fresh air ( which given we were on the 9th floor could be an issue for those with young children!!!). No breakfast option available, not really needed though - plenty of food options close by.

Unbeatable location to visit peace park & bomb dome, and main shopping/eating/entertainment district. Easy to find, we caught the JR bus from Hiroshima station. Our rooms had a view over the river with cherry blossoms in full bloom.

The location - is within walking distance of the A-Bomb monument, Peace Park, and shopping district. Value for money and the staff is friendly. Additional points, there is a boat pier that is going to Miyajima island close to this hotel. The fare is around 4000+ yen for a round trip per person.

Would have been good if the room had cooling as well. For people like us coming from a cold place, this weather can be hot, so instead of having centralized heating, it should have a cooling option in the room for guests. This is the only reason I'm rating this place 9/10. For I could not sleep both the nights as it was too hot for us.

There is only one elevator. We tried to use the laundry room but it was too busy and other guests just took our clothes away without permission. They even stops the machines. We decided to do the laundry outside the hotel.

There is mold on the windows and the windows had condensation on them. There was a musky smell. The bedding was stained and dirty.

The size of the room was nice for the price. The view was beautiful. The location was perfect for the activities we wanted to do.

The only think which would be helpful is to have grab bars in the bath tub / shower. With the high bath tub sides this would help getting in and out of the tub easier.

The location of the hotel was excellent to the Hiroshima museum and ferry to Miyajima island. It was walkable to both places.

It wasn’t the cleanest, there were some stains on the bedding and there was a wrapper left on the floor (which is understandable just out of the norm). Also in case it helps someone with limited mobility, there was a step to get into the bathroom.

It was super close to everything we wanted to do in the area, and also very close to public transit. Front desk person that we had was very nice, but to note, did not speak much English.

The bed. It was much lower in the middle than on the sides, had a big dent in it so to say. So we kept rolling towards each other. Nice for a new couple... ;) but not so much for a descent nights sleep.

Like the other hotels I stayed at, this one did not have a separate room for storing your luggage if you arrived before check-in, or wanted to sight see a bit more after check-out. Your luggage is simply put to one side in the reception area, where the staff can keep an eye on it.

If you want to see the "bomb dome" and the Peace Park in Hiroshima, this hotel is very close, just a few blocks away. I had a single room. The room was more spacious than other hotels I stayed at, and the bed was very comfortable. We may have just gotten lucky with the weather, but in mid-July it was pleasant and peaceful to sit on a park bench by the river in Hiroshima, whereas in Tokyo in the city it had been oppressively hot and humid and loud.
