Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaCouldn't see information on the TV about price of menu items in hotel restaurants and bars, although we could see and read what the food was. That is why we went to the Haneda Garden food court, where we had a lovely meal. Our standard double room was small but suited our needs as we were in transit and so our checked baggage was not with us. (It would have been very squeezy with two large suitcases in the toom. )
Helpful staff, cleanliness, walk to terminal, bathroom supplies, quiet sleep, comfortable bed. Easy walk to Haneda Garden food court.

TaiwanThe rooms for 3 or 4 people should be more spacey, with additional spaces for placing luggages.
Location is good with a good view of the airport. The air conditioning is nice and the serving staff were very helpful. The lighting is also relaxing. It's perfect for people trying to catch early departure flights.

Japancould use more signage to get to the spa from the hotel rooms. there are multiple elevators and you need to use a specific one to get to the spa and the same room doors go on for a long way which makes it easy to get lost.
the spa was great! already recommended it to freinds!

United States of AmericaThis is a perfect place for a long layover. The rooms are small but comfortable enough to recover with a good sleep and you can miss the onsen. Besides, it's tattoo friendly.

AustraliaCheck in via a "machine" very unbecoming of an "upmarket" hotel.
Did not use the facilities as left on early flight and had breakfast in airport lounge. The room itself was very comfortable in a very busy hotel, surprisingly quiet for an airport hotel.

United KingdomThe bathroom was converted from the balcony so when you first step into the room, the curtain which was covering the windows gave the impression that there wasn't any bathroom. Later when I opened the curtain realised that the bathroom was hiding behind where (I assume) was originally a balcony. It's not the end of the world but with the heavy curtain no light penetrates the room, and if the curtain is open the light comes in but so is view of the toilet. Not ideal, especially if the room has more than a single occupant!
Good location if you have to catch an early flight at Haneda Airport! The room was really pricey but came with an Onsen ticket. The room was clean and plenty of shops around (it's an airport afterall).

SingaporeThe hotel staff was so helpful. I had to check in on my own without my husband and had a few luggages and a toddler with me. The staff proactively offered me help with the luggages and accompanied me to my hotel room. The room was modern and clean and surprisingly quiet given that it's so close to the airport! Plenty of food and shop options around the hotel as well, which made it convenient to get last minute souvenirs etc.

United KingdomNothing I can think of!
The hotel is right in Haneda Airport (Terminal 3 I believe) so gave me a 5-minute 'commute' in the morning to get an early flight. I loved my stay. There was an indoor 'street' of shops and food stalls to allow for fun last-minute shopping, there's an onsen (sadly I didn't get a chance to use it) and the staff are lovely and helpful. The room is compact but comfortable. I'd thoroughly recommend!

Location right in airport. You can book overnight, or 4 to 8 hour stays. Great for red-eye flights. The room was small, but more than adequate. The bed and sheets were wonderful. View of the water. Three minutes to departure desk. Included onsen (spa) tickets, which was very relaxing.
