Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The place is superb for a long stay. I stayed at Khan residence for 8 days and it was very good. Easily accessible and very convenient. Super responsive host!

need more folks and spoons.
The host prepared lots of amenities that were needed for the short stay but were reluctant to buy. That was very convenient. Iron and Iron board, umbrella, etc. It is very close to the Coex complex. I would like to come to stay again.

One thing to know, this location is not a hotel, it's more like an airbnb situation. There's no personell on site to help you with questions or provide typical hotel services. All communication is online via the host. This was not an issue for us because we are korean speakers and are familiar navigating around Seoul, but it may be an issue for travelers who need hotel-style hospitality services to get around.
The room was really nice and had much more than we expected. Kitchen, washing machine, fridge and a computer as well. Host was very responsive via booking.com messaging, and gave clear instructions for the property. The room was very well thought out, and there were nice little touches that made it convenient, such as indoor slippers, a bidet, and useful kitchen utensils.

The interior aesthetics are slightly old school although that didn’t bother us much as the place and line were quite clean .
I would rate location as the highest factor for this property - 7-10 mins walking distance across the cross road to both , (a) City air limousine terminal (KWN 18,000 one way ticket to Incheon airport ) and also (b) Samseong subway station .It’s in the Gangnam-gu district so that’s very accessible as well , with the COEX mall within walking distance as well . 24x7 convenience stores on the ground floor . Decent sized room (we were 2 pax) with adequate white goods and a functional kitchenette ( washing machine , dryer , microwave , stove , utensils )

Some general info handeling trash would be good to be present in the room, for foreigners.
The location is very near Gangnam station. All amenities (washing mashine, dryier, bathroom in the room, ironing tools) Most information was pressented quickly.

Honestly, I couldn't fault the accommodation at all. It had everything I needed and more. Very straight forward access and if I had any questions, the host was quick to reply.
The location was perfect! I was attending a conference at the Coex Convention Centre and it was a 5 minute walk to it. All the surrounding facilities were great. The view was awesome too as it's on the 21st floor! Plenty of convenience stores to buy food and it was right next to the Coex and Hyundi Mall. I used buses mostly for my transport around Seoul, but train station only 10minute walk from the building. ATM in the lobby of the building which is handy. Jake, the host, met me when I arrived and he was amazing. So helpful. Everyone was really helpful around the building, as they're used to foreigners coming through.

Chairs are a bit worn. Towels smelled a bit unpleasant. I washed and dried them immediately, so it wasn't a problem.
Quiet studio apartment, practically furnished. Everything is there as described. New household appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers and kettles were very useful to me. Fast internet, BBC,CNN, very patient and nice host. Communication works great. 7-11 shop & Gimbab shop in the building were useful too.
