It was a beautiful Riad in a great area. The boys there could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, they had loads of local tips and even took us to places to see. The little plunge pool was so good after a day walking around and the bedroom was really comfortable. I had a hamman and a massage and both were amazing.

Outstanding authentic hotel close to all major attractions. Great, friendly and helpful staff that make you feel home. Loved Moroccan tea that they served! Mustafa was available to answer our questions 24 hours a day and arranged our private tour that we really enjoyed.

I didn t like the bathroom towels and robes hanging on a coat stand. I would of preferred them folded as I felt they could of been used before. Personal preference

Our stay at the Riad Sofia was delightful. The staff, Abdo and Chikhe were extremely helpful, informative and constantly good natured. From the moment everyone got there they sat visitors down, helped them download map apps so that you won’t get lost, what to look out for, what to pay and even where to get our wine. The Riad itself was very central, extremely pretty and very peaceful with a rooftop terrace where we could drink our wine and relax. Overall our experience there was wonderful and l found the Moroccan people to be extremely humorous, friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly recommend Morocco and this was a great place to stay.

Beautiful tradition Moroccan style riad with stunning decorative features. Delicious breakfast which we chose to eat on the roof terrace, gorgeous! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Slightly noisy in the mornings but not bad

Good location, good price and very friendly helpful staff. Abdul and chilkh were extremely helpful. Abdul was a wealth of knowledge and and helped us so much over the weekend with recommendations, directions and booking excursions. He went well out of his way to make sure we had a great trip!

The soundproofing is basically non-existent - you could hear everything in the courtyard! But I think this is probably an issue at any riad. Also the beds are quite hard and the shower pressure was a little weak. But otherwise comfortable!

The riad is a gorgeous building, well-located in the heart of the medina whilst being tucked away from most of the chaos. Staff were friendly, helpful and super attentive. The room was massive with a very grand bathroom. Breakfast was decent.

No way of keeping noise out at doors and windows have gaps around them so you wake at any noise in the building.

The area is a bit unsafe as its in central so just be mindful if you’re a girl. The hosts will look after you though. We were walked to dinner one night by the owner.

The riad was spotless, really clean, in a perfect location if you want to be central. Said was our host and he was amazing, really friendly, gave some great tips. My friend is vegan and he went out to tailor breakfast just for her. Breakfast was great though, made fresh everyday with traditional moroccan options also. Its quiet and is more like a really big house so its super intimate. The terrace is nice also. Its close to a mosque so you can here the adhan every morning which I loved. The architecture inside the building and rooms as well are so beautiful, amazing stay. Thank you Said

The hotel was in a brilliant location - close to the souks and other sights, but down a quiet alleyway, so it was a tranquil haven from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, particularly Karim. They were also very flexible and willing to adjust to our requests. The room was comfortable and it was lovely being able to relax on the rooftop terrace.

It was a little bit dirty (mainly the carpets and towels). Karim (a staff member) was a little stubborn when we asked for help.

The place is very very pretty and Said is an amazing host. The riad is in a very good location and the breakfast is amazing.
