The WiFi is practically non existent, prepare for digital detox. The restaurant on site is not open in the evening and is overpriced.

The beach is superb as is the property manager Lily - she was so helpful.

The bathroom had luke warm water, mostly hot in am for showering, but often cool only at night.

The property is old and charming. Lilly, the property manager, is a wonderfully helpful, caring, and knowledgeable person. She helped book our taxi’s coming and going and had great ideas and helpful suggestions throughout our stay! The restaurant on site has delicious& gorgeous food and a wonderful wine bar-though pricey.

It was out dated. We were in a room that didn't have hot water & there were bugs in the shower. Lily quickly moved us to another room. Could have more comfortable outdoor furnishings. Very awkward to walk through the restaurant to get to the pool.

Lily the manager is a gem. She was very welcoming and will do what ever is possible to make you happy. The breakfast at Kin Ha is very good and beach towels are included.

Would be more convenient to have meals available at the premise.

Maria's Kan Kin will be a jam once the restaurant is renovated, and breakfast is available there. The staff was super helpful and friendly. It is our hope the restored hotel can keep its tranquil charm with the beautiful tropical flowers.

the kitchen is being renovated. no food or drinks service. we weren’t warned about until the day before arrival (ie too late to change). but we were offered a nice alternative next door, for breakfast, so it was nice too. very friendly staff.

very nice private beach, next to a small public beach with food and drinks.

The Bar and restaurant were being remodeled. We had to walk next door to their sister hotel. It was only about 50 yards...still a shorter walk than some larger resorts to get to a restaurant.

Despite the fact that the Hotel was under construction, we definitely enjoyed our stay and would go back. The restaurant and bar were being renovated, but we were accommodated by their sister hotel just a short walk away. The breakfast included in our stay exceeded our expectations and the view from our table was incredible. We really enjoyed starting our day off with a view of the sky-blue/aqua marine water between Isla Mujeres and Cancun. The owner was very sweet and ensured we were taken care of during our stay. The private beach was perfect and just steps away. We will be back. Hopefully after the construction is complete.

A beachfront room, massages on the beach and fantastic staff made a short trip so memorable.

If I was really critical, there was re-modeling happening so the restaurant was not open which would have been a benefit because there's not much for food that's walkable or open later. This meant breakfast was next door (which was awesome) and I was grateful the staff let us know this ahead of time.

The staff was fantastic and while we were in town for a short period they were as helpful as possible. The view was nice from our balcony and we had more than enough space. We did massages on the beach that the staff helped us to arrange which was awesome. Even the simple gesture of reading my note knowing it was my husband's birthday was so sweet. I would stay here again when their remodel is done -- it looks like ocean views for drinks and eats are on the way.

Lack of restaurant and pool on site. Wi-Fi access was practically non-existent and building construction noise was not ideal. But when it was mentioned they modified construction times.

Lily the manager is amazing and the location was great. Property is under construction so limited amenities but we had access to facilities a couple buildings down. We had a great time!

No pool - no restaurant as the ones we can see in the pictures are currently under renovation ! so we were quite disappointed as we were not warned. The breakfast was in another restaurant next to the hotel.

The location of the hotel with the private beach is amazing. Everything was quiet and the view and sunset from the beach was amazing.

Nothing major - Had a few issues with no hot water for showers. You could hear the loud music from the party hotel a few doors down. That did not bother me but some people might not like it. The beds could be softer…

This was a charming little property off the beaten path. It was not crowded and had a small clean beach area. No sargassum! The staff was so great and went out of their way to make you comfortable and make sure you had everything you needed. The room was very comfortable and A/C worked great. I will definitely go back.

the room was very dark and not very clean (stains on the walls). In the garden and on the terasse outside the room there are so many mosquitos that you can’t sit outside and chill or have the door to the room open. A mosquito net over the bed would have been nice. The restaurant is not part of the hotel, so the breakfast is in another restaurant down the road (expect slow service and waiters demanding tips every morning, as service charge is not part of the included breakfast. It might be custom on the island, where there’s a huge tipping culture. Didn’t experience this other places in Mexico). The restaurant at the hotel is super pricey and the staff seems grumpy with the fact that the hotel guests have access to the beach without buying anything in their posh bar. It seems like they don’t have many costumers (wonder why!), so the general vibe is just not chilled and the staff seems tense. It’s a bit sad that the place is run like this, and there’s not really a restaurant or bar at the hotel where you’d want to hang out in. There was no wifi in our room for five out of seven days. This place was unfortunately also the only place in Mexico where we saw the white dotted dengue mosquito (in the day time on the private beach and just outside our room). I’m sure you can find it in many other places, but we didn’t want to take any chances (was travelling with a baby), so we hardly used the private beach. This is of course not the hotels fault, but just a fact that really put a downer to our stay there. We might as well have stayed in a cheaper air bnb further in the island.

private beach with a nice view and crystal clear water. The hotel provided us with a baby bed upon request. It was nice to stay in the south end of Isla mujeres away from the over crowded and hectic playa Norte. It’s walking distance to the gerrafon beach club that has some nice snorkelling areas.
