This was my second stay at the resort, but it was slightly less pleasant than my first stay due to the condition of the bathroom. While it was clean, there was a problem with the heater (no warm water, but it was so hot that the cold showers were also quite welcome) and the drainage was easily clogged so it left a smell in the bathroom. This wasn't an issue in my previous stay, which was great, so this might just have been an issue with the one room.

The location of this resort is perfect. Situated in the Duty Free Zone with loads of food options all within 10-15min walking distance. The back of the resort opens up directly to Pantai Tengah, which is much quieter beach than Pantai Cenang. This is my second stay and I would definitely recommend it again.

Bali-esque hotel. Room is beautiful, clean and spacious. Friendly staff. Direct access to Pantai Tengah. Walking distance to Pantai Cenang.

The AC and the fan was a bit noisy, but everything else was comfortable.

The location was just perfect. 2-minute walk to beach, yet a short walk to the heart of Pantai Cenang. I really enjoyed the quiet and green environment.

The water pressure is pretty low and the hotel management has not done anything about it since the last time I visited sunset beach resort. It’s a reoccurring problem, thus I believe the management should do something. Also, the rooms at the back aren’t as bad as the rooms in front. Therefore, the management should resolve this matter. There were not many lights outside the rooms. It gets a little scary when you’re walking from one room to another after 12 am.

Too many mosquitoes in the room, but couldn’t be helped.

The room was actually better than expected. The pictures don’t do the room justice. It’s basic but comfortable, with an emphasis on the cleanliness. The location was just right. It was on the end of the main tourist strip in Pantai Cenang so it was close enough to everything but very quiet.

Next to the hotel is a construction site which may can be sometimes a bit noisy, but was not an issues for us.

The staff is unbelievable friendly and helpful, they also waited for our arrival at 10pm for checkin. They also organised our transfer to KohLipe which worked perfectly. The beach ist quiet and nice, you are in a few minutes in the tourist area where you can get everything you need. As described the WiFi is just available at the lobby area what didn’t bother us at all. The whole site is lovely equipped with a lot of plants, statues etc.

- this is not the hotel fault but there is a very big construction plan right next to the hotel. But at night it is of course quiet and the works stopped so it was not at all bothering as we were out in the day :)

- fantastic direct access to the beach - very very very lovely staff, super kind and helpful for everything - charming outdoors around the rooms, with plants - great location on the more quiet end of Cenang, but 5 mins walk to all amenities
