Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelAgain, the lighting in the dining room which was dingy. We had dinner there and the lighting was poor and the food was pretty bad. It was located on a remote road and we did not feel comfortable taking out the car at night.
Breakfast was so so. The dining room is dark and dingy. The hotel is located is such nice surroundings yet the breakfast /dining room has small windows high up and practically no natural light. It is dark and the lighting is very poor. Therefore its slightly depressing to sit there.

United KingdomOn arrival we discovered that our room was in fact a twin room and not a double. This should have been made clearer at the time of booking in the same way as the many other hotels on the Bookings Site. The bathroom was lacking storage space/shelving and there were no drawers in the bedroom which would help as we stayed more than one night.
All round high quality, breakfast was up to expectations. We were allowed a late check out which was very considerate.

United States of AmericaVERY BAD INTERNET. General issues: It was difficult to communicate because staff speak little English. Google translator helped greatly. The room was very stuffy so I opened windows. There is no coffee maker or ways to heat water. There were no towels in the bathroom, no refrigerator, and the bathroom vanity light was burned out so bathroom was a little dark. The couch was stained so badly with 2’ wide stains we avoided sitting on it and used it for our suitcases to cover the “scene of the crime”. The bed was rather hard but we managed a pretty good sleep. The bed cover protector had an iron burn imprinted on the coverlet. During our 3 day stay no freshening of the room was made, no pick up of used towels or trash. We took our trash to a large bin by the elevator. I had to request fresh towels and an ironing board. On the first day the hallway lights automatically came on when you walked to your room. After that day the lights would not come on so we would walk in the dark and fumble with finding the key hole to get inside. By this time we were laughing at all these conditions but we were very frustrated that the WIFI internet connection rarely worked in our room. Maybe a minute or two so we would go to a corner if the lobby and try to connect. It would work most of the time in the morning in the lobby only. VERY FRUSTRATING TRYING TO COORDINATE WITH FRIENDS ETC. This hotel was very expensive so for me a big disappointment with it being so costly. Will not stay here next visit.
Beautiful exterior and setting surrounded by trees and lovely flowers. The lobby was updated and fresh. It was quiet because it far from town square and has no neighbors. The AC worked well. Breakfast is very traditional. Bacon is raw. We asked for scrambled eggs and coffee and they happily prepared these for use. The staff was very nice. It allows pets.
