Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Stylish accommodation in the center of Sanok. Possibility of private parking. Nice and spotless room. Even though we were the only guests in the hotel, the restaurant was open for us and the meal was delicious. Breakfast was perfect, eggs were prepared in various ways on request, as well as the hams, different types of cheese, jam, and other standard food.

The hotel was a bit odd and seemed a bit under utilized.
The room was HUGE. The beds were comfy. The staff was exceedingly kind, though we spoke no Polish and they spoke no English. There is also a Lidl right behind the hotel which was nice. The breakfast was hearty, and someone scrambled eggs for guests upon request.

no temperature control in room, and some street noise, but acceptable.
Breakfast was really nice and tasty, very close to the main loactions in the town, room was big and clean and bathroom was new and comfortable.

No A/C, but there was a fan at least.
Walking distance to centrum, a lot of space in the room(s) - it is two rooms - bedroom and living room and both are huge with high ceiling. Good breakfast. Good communication with hotel, somehow we forgot to pay on checkout and were able to arrange payment by bank wire.

Lack of air-conditioning. Damaged window hinges. Fridge too small. Lack of shampoo, lack of spare toilet paper. One-use plastic cup in the bathroom (coukd not stand with a toothbrush in it). Some plugs not working, some very loose. Lack of safe.
Location. Free parking. Easy access to wifi. Royal/medieval style of the restaurant. High ceilings. Reception manned for 24 hrs.

It took 5minutes for the water in the shower to warm up and it was just lukewarm temperature. After few days the water was either too hot or ice cold. We struggled to take showers and to wash our two year old boy. Hotel looks renovated on the outside but inside is very old, the floor was creaking. In the middle of the night we could hear very clear someone from above using and flushing the toilet as well taking a shower. It woke up our baby at 2am.

If you're looking for a cosy place to stay in Sanok, this is a great choice. The place is good value for money, located close to the bus/railway station and the town centre. Very clean, the bed was comfy, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel was old fashioned and looking a bit tired. Had ground floor street facing room which I asked not for. As window had to be left open due to temperature there was noise from road traffic outside all night. Lack of electrical sockets. Had to disconnect a lamp from the only one near the bed to charge my phone so therefore I had no working bedside lamp
Easy to reach from bus and rail stations. Very spacious room. Bathroom in working order. WiFi OK.
