Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I spent a very good week at Hotel Legenda. Very clean and comfortable space. The staff was awesome and always ready to help. My big thank for Kuba and Agnieska and specially for Lovely Emilia for being so Kind and professional. I'll definitely comeback 😃

It seems that when there are lots of guests staying, they provide a decent buffet breakfast. If you're staying when the place is almost empty like I did however, you get a couple of plates of cheese, salad, meat and bread. If you like a choice of food in the morning, you could be disappointed. Beware of the loose tiles on the entrance steps.
Friendly, and right in the historical centre, I booked a room here because it seemed to offer a good price in return for a room with a private bathroom and breakfast included. There's absolutely nothing special about the place, but it's perfect if you're on a budget.

It was mentioned in several places that sauna is available from 4pm to 10pm Fridays and Saturdays. However, sauna was cold and not turned on Friday 4.30pm. I even confirmed available hours on Thursday from reception.
Room was better than from the pictures, breakfast was great with many options available, garden was beautiful and location perfect. Receptionist was very friendly.

The bed was so uncomfortable that we moved to sleep on the floor, and left after one night rather than stay for two nights that we booked.
The location is great, in the old town, with access to all amazing historical places. The building itself also has this historical vibe, really nice.

Very thin walls, you can easily hear talks from neighbor room.
The hotel is located in the city center, which is its biggest advantage. The room was clean and spacious. Hotel is offering wide selection for a breakfast and has great restaurant with reasonable prices.

The wifi didnt work at all and this was a disaster for my companion who was remote working. There was also some confusion with being charged a hefty 350 euro cancellation fee. Be careful with the wording 'total cost to cancel no prepayment needed' .. it means cancelling is full price

The WI-FI did not work in bed. The tv was small and you could not see it properly in bed due to the angle.

The basic bedspread had stains on them that were alarming to say the least, but the main blanket and covers underneath were clean. The design of the stand up shower in the two-bedroom looked like it needs a little more love with the placement of the shower handle, but otherwise, it was okay. Also the entrance/exit to the parking lot was REAL small. Anything larger than a 4-door compact may have an issue with the parking on site.
The staff were real friendly and helpful, especially when it came to coming into the property at late hours. The continental breakfast in the morning was adequete and the spa in house was amazing. The design of the place is great and feels real comfortable.

Room could get quite warm in the summers and no fans or AC. Luckily for us it rained and we didn’t need to request fans. The bathroom drain was slow draining And water got collected very quickly in the shower. The property will be needing some TLC soon.
Good breakfast, great location. Nice room with good view, ideal for a family. The spa was nice and provided a great activity Indoors for the rainy day.
