Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt's a bit far from the city - takes you 20 min walk to get to where restaurants and bars are. The room was not soundproof, you could hear people in other rooms taking showers or walking in the hallway. Also, curtains are not covering the windows much so you'll be woken up at 7 am by sunlight.
This stay literally took me to the times 25 years ago when my school would organise a holiday stay somewhere. The facilities are clean and taken care of but overall the hotel looks like what a brand new mid-tier hotel would look in the late 1990's or early 2000's. This was not a problem for me and I would actually come back there. Wifi was good. The staff is *exceptionally* friendly and helpful!

EstoniaThe building is a bit worn, reception is tiny and behind barriers. Rooms are not sound proof at all. Everything is rather basic. But if you keep your expectations low, you can manage
Easy to find and parking well arranged. Breakfast is fine, rooms clean. Personnel is friendly and helpful.

LithuaniaThere were a lot of spiders on the balcony. Some of them were also in the room. It is unpleasant to see stains on the ceiling, which must have appeared when those spiders were crushed.

LithuaniaThe shower doors had a gap on the bottom therefore a lot of water was coming out. Tiles inside the shower was broken as well as one bed edge piece was missing. The sound insulation is not so good, you can hear what happens in a nearby rooms or in a corridor. And we did not managed to turn on TV even though there was a manual on the table how to do that. There is only stairs in a hotel so be ready to carry your luggage to the top floors. Breakfast was ok in terms of variety of food. However in terms of taste the food apeared quite dull.
Administration speaks English very well. The room was clean and with balcony (view to the inner yard).

FranceQuiet hotel, in a beautiful village. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfasts are good. And the value for money is really, really good. But there's one great point about this hotel : It's located close to the "Wolf's lair". This place is one of the major locations in the history of WW2. If you go to that hotel, I definitely recommend you visit this touristic place.
