Good breakfast, very helpful staff (we arrived during a very important religious holiday and the staff helped us a lot with getting to the airport). Very nice outdoor swimming pool in the center of the hotel. The biggest advantage - great location, all of Ponta Delgada within walking distance. I would highly recommend!

It’s hard to find anything bad!

Elegant, spacious, old building with modern renovation. Clean. Comfortable and very quiet. Nice restaurant with good breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, bacon and eggs, cheese and cold cuts, breads, cereals, juice and coffee. Plenty of hot water, air conditioning and great windows. Elevators and staff help with luggage. Parking on premises was safe and convenient. Staff always helpful and kind.

Personal was super friendly and helped with everything needed. There was no problem to get a lunch packet because we had to leave early. The restaurant serves amazing food and all in all you get a warm feeling while staying in this hotel.

Staff at breakfast were angry and also at breakfast there was rowdy loud music. For water at breakfast we had to pay (a small amount) which was a bit strange.

The hotel is a pleasant building in a quiet street. The place is roomy the rooms are adequate the beds a bit small. Staff at the reception were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent but…

I felt the beds were too hard and I had a sore back from them. A few minor details of maintenance in the room. broken toilet seat cover and toilet paper dispenser needed to be tightened on wall.

The building location and decor was great! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Modern decor with historic features of basalt which the region is known for.

Everything met or exceeded my expectations.

The location was fantastic in downtown Ponta Delgada. Bianca at the front desk was super-helpful. The room was comfortable and at a good price point. It was great to have parking in the building, and the car elevator was an interesting experience.

My only complaint - and quite a big one - was that the pillows were very old and lumpy and uncomfortable. For a hotel of this standard this was really a surprising let down & meant I left with a sore neck. As I was only staying one night I didn't get chance to ask for different pillows, so it might have been possible to change them. Everything else was fantastic.

The location of this well-appointed hotel was right in the heart of Ponta Delgada and within walking distance to the majority of tourist spots and a variety of restaurants. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The self-serve breakfast buffet that was included was good and provided lots of choice.
