We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

QatarWe weren't welcomed by any staff, in person, to show us the house and its amenities. Some things were broken, so it would be nice to be welcomed by someone to confirm that they already knew about those and to make us feel more comfortable entering the house.

PortugalAir condicioner of the house didn't work. It was mentioned that the house has a pool but it has not! So we book the house thinking there's a pool and we didn't have one. The reception desk is at hotel Aqualuz and their service is very very bad. The notifyed me via email on the check-in day at 6pm saying that check-in should be made after 4pm. When arrived to the proprierty we had no idea we should go to this Aqualuz Hotel. At Aqualuz hotel there was a uge line to check-in and we were waiting for hours. Unbeliavable. I will not repeat this experience and that's pitty because the house is very nice.
Fantastic location. Troia it's a nice place to rest and to be in vacations with the familly.

PortugalI think for the value of these villas I think the maintenance and up keep of these properties should impecable. In some places like balconies the overall look was worn down. The check in was very late and the check out early. They should have a mat in front door so we aren't tracking water all over the place.
The design of the villas are nice.

The location was great, very beautiful and peaceful. The villas were very spacious and perfect for what we had in mind for our little team retreat.

PortugalThe property was like the pictures but very hard to find. We arrived there and the staff couldn’t explain where the house were located. After spending some time trying to find the house we finally arrived very tired and the AC was broken, plus making a huge noise. We couldn’t sleep the whole night. No water or anything to eat or drink and to pay €510 to stay and even no water offered is really bad.

GermanyI would not classify this as a „dislike“, however, we did notice that some of the decorations in the houses differed. In two of the houses, we had white high quality dining chairs while in the third house, the chairs were grey and of a plastic-similar material. In one house there were beautiful flower vases, in the others not. I would recommend to unify the interior designs, as this ensures that all guests have the same experience!
A group of friends and I booked three of the „Time Houses“. We can confirm that the advertised pictures absolutely reflect the reality. All three houses were beautifully decorated with attention to detail and the cleanliness was impeccable. Contrary to previous reviews that mention a lack of maintenance in the houses, missing heating and cold water, our experience was perfect. The houses were very well kept, the heating was turned on upon our check in providing a cozy atmosphere and we had no issues with cold water. I would also like to note that that the staff from the Editory Hotel Group was extremely helpful in ensuring that all my questions and requests were met. The area around the houses is very peaceful and green!
