Its located in a nice and calm place. It’s very well maintained, it’s looks like a garden. The houses are cute and spacious.

Location is close from Ribeira Grande and the beaches but the immediate surroundings are not very nice. There was a smell of humidity in the apartments and the linen.

Beds were quite uncomfortable. The pool was beautiful but had too many chemicals in.

The apartments were clean and had everything we needed, the grounds were beautiful with a nice area for children to play, the staff were very friendly and the room was cleaned every day. Plenty of space to park in the carpark.

It could be nice just to be able to buy and ice cream or a soda/beer on premises as nothing is within walking distance.

Nice, big pool in lush and green gardens. Very large area with bananatrees, orange trees etc. Also a playground for the little ones. Parking for everyone behind gates. We stayed in a big appartment with two bedrooms and a kitchen/living room. A big terrace and semi-private garden (semi-private because open for everyone, but every appartment had their own limited space and I saw no one going into our part in our 9 days there). We loved our stay here.

The room has mold smell..The aircon does not help as the air coming out also smells mold. The mosquito screen in the living room patio door has a hole on the side which we did not realise. A cat came into the apartment and did not want to leave. She seems to know the apartment well. The fridge has rusty stain in the surface. The freezer has ice built up. The kitchen cabinets also smell mold. The sofas are dated and also smell mold.

The garden is beautiful.

A very sick receptionist checked us in, she should have stayed home. The coffee was horrible, should have guessed it as Everybody was drinking tea. The charge €10 pp for breakfast. Breakfast was decided in seating groups, we were the 9.30 group and not much was left available. The apartment and pool are very nice though. The area not so much, more industrial area, no restaurants nearby, but if you have a car it is only 17 min to Ponta Delgado.

Everything was great, as long as one is careful when driving the car off the property through the gate.

The property is beautiful. Very nice landscaping - amazing plants and flowers. Also super adorable cats on the property belonging to property management.

The apartments have sliding doors instead of windows (which is great!), but some of the locks didn't work that well, and probably need adjusting. The coffee machine is located in reception, but it would be better in the room. The hotel would benefit from some indoor facilities. They have a big room, which they hire for events with nothing really for guests. There is a pool table, but unfortunately they have no balls or queues (we asked at reception). These are all minor things. This is a great hotel, and I would recommend it.

Super friendly staff. Fantastic housekeeping (I was very impressed). Large, clean, comfortable apartments. Good beds. Good air con / heating. Nice clean outdoor pool, open all year round. Even though it isn't heated, my kids still enjoyed a refreshing swim. Lovely gardens. Friendly cats. Our room had a fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. You can request a small portable oven from reception at no charge. Check-out is until 12:00, which was really helpful! This is a really great place to stay.

the kitchen was slightly poorly equipped. stove not fully functioning, although they did bring a portable oven when asked. room smelled a little damp.

The rooms need some renovation. Specially bathroom and kitchen. When they decide to do it it will be a 10/10 place to stay.

There seems to be some kind of a humidity problem going on, since I read in several comments that people experienced some weird smells and stains on ceilings/walls. Our room smelled very humid as well, which was not too big of a deal since we only stayed 3 nights. If you are not a fan of cats, this place is also not the place for you, since there are about 10 (adorable!) cats that call this place their home. Lastly, if you do not travel by car, this place is a bit far from the city center of Ribeira Grande and the city center of Rabo de Peixe did feel a tiny bit unwelcoming in some parts. We went there on foot one evening and did not feel too much at ease.

The personnel was very friendly and professional and helped us find a nice place to eat not too far from the hotel. The swimming pool is not very big but definitely big enough to cool off after/during a warm summer day. There a plenty of cats on the premises, but they are well-behaved and some are even shy. I saw some remarks that you cannot eat in peace, but for us this was not at all true. Furthermore there is the option to have breakfast at the hotel, which was okay (bread, some sweets, fruit, eggs, cornflakes).

A pond next to our building unit caused the presence of the only mosquitoes we met on the island in the whole week. The mosquito net at the windows left small but not-negligible openings and a large beetle took advantage of that to enter our apartment. We found the pillows uncomfortable.

Beautiful position. Large apartment on the first floor of a two apartments' unit (Gladiolo) with well separate rooms and all comforts. Large bathroom. Room service was unexpected and appreciated. Immersed in beautiful gardens with great vista. Nice pool.
