Nice 2 bedroom apartment, with a fully equipped kitchen with all that you need. The surroundings are beautiful, the garden very well taken cared of. The main pool is very large and has 3 sections, and if that wouldn't be enough, there are 3 more extra locations with pool, one of them indoors. Easy to park, at least during May.

72 steps from roadway to apartment. Not sufficient car parking convenient for the apartment. Would not wish to use this apartment again due to the hard work off loading our luggage from the car to the apartment.

We love the beautiful location with trees, shrubs and flowers. The entire resort is well-planned and maintained. The villa has the right space and privacy for enjoying a relaxing holiday.

Great location for hiking the cliffs & short walks to centre & beaches. However, Reception failed to provide apartment booked for first 2 nights in spite of arriving to check on reservation 4 days prior to the stay so had to deal with resort director to amicably resolve problem. She was very professional. Disappointing given reservation was made 7 months earlier but maintenance & housekeeping staff were very good responding to minor issues.

Impossible to get the room warm. Went during cold spell and the heating system wasn’t sufficient.

The apartment had great facilities and was comfy. Parking on site and easy to find. The resort is well kept and would return.

There was quite a bit of construction/renovation going on, which was a bit noisy at times; but the work didn't start until 8 am. The apartment was dated; e.g. old but servable appliances in the kitchen, English instructions were missing. Several times the wall heaters stopped working. When we informed the front desk, they took details and problems were usually resolved in good time. After lightening hit the resort, power was off for a few hours, the TV stopped working, there was a problem procuring new parts, we heard. 3 days before we left, the TV was operating again. Decorations (framed pictures) were faded. The patio was not cleaned , and the barbeque metal grids were rusty and needed replaced.. Looks like the new owners are working on upgrading much of the large village resort!

The one bedroom Seaview apartment was spacious and well laid out, kitchen living/dining area main floor, bedroom/bathroom downstairs. We loved the view of the cliffs and ocean from the patio. We could see hikers navigating the walking paths. The grounds in the village resort are well maintained and lovely to walk around. the covered heated pool is a good addition ( we stayed here 17 years ago!) Cleaning /fresh towels were offered regularly. Staff at the office and the grounds were professional and friendly. We enjoyed the coffee shop for beverages, made our own breakfast at the apartment. The grocery store is great for basics, good opening hours. The restaurant O Farol was closed until first week of February. Before we left. we enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner.

Excellent for the price. Spent most of the time in Faro area sightseeing a dating tennis.

TV knocked out by electrical storm (no-ones fault). Some building work and maintenance noise - but we understand that winter would be the time to do this. Main restaurant was closed - again, January.

Very quiet due to the time of year. Great weather for January. The apartment had a log fire. Close enough to Carvoeiro village and the staff were helpful -very friendly. We really appreciated that they would speak English.
