Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaLocation having lot of people selling drugs and old stuffs, personally not feeling safe. Lot of hills when walking back to the property. Not enough airflow even with AC on.
Property is clean, have everything you need, full of utensils and functional kitchen. Close to all tractions on foot. Good value for the money.

The place was very clean, the room was big, we have also the cot for your baby very nicely prepared, the suites are near the centre and walking distance from public transport, very nice authentic restaurant nearby, we really appreciate the kitchen and the common areas; The host was super nice and responsive. RomaniaThe location is close to the centre and all the attractions in Lisbon, but is quite shady at night. Also there were big noises in the evening and morning, so if you don"t have a deep sleep, it might wake you up.
The apartment was clean and had good facilities. You can keep your luggage after check out, which was a good option for us. Also host is responsive and reliable.

CanadaNothing to do with the hotel itself but the road is very steep, especially with luggage. We knew that from previous comments. Gets easier in time
The room was spacious and clean. Lots of storage space and shower was good size Staff was helpful and check in was pleasant and quick. Located in a residential neighborhood off the main road so quiet in the evening.

United KingdomHairdryer and shampoo/conditioner for a longer stay would be useful for people travelling light.
The location very convenient just behind Rossio Square but up a very steep hill. As a fmale travelling alone it was a safe area during the day and evening.. The room and en-suite were very clean and the room was spacious. The beds have good quality memory foam type mattresses - they are probably fine for most people but were too firm for me (petite female). There were good thick fluffy towels. fridge, iron and small ironing board. I am a very light sleeper so I always use highly rated earplugs and eye shades when travelling - I was not woken up by noise or light although the curtains and blind do not shut out all light from outside. There is a very useful shared kitchen dining and lounge area in the basement and a separate luggage room (with shared code access) to leave locked luggage for collection after check out. overall convenient and good value for money so I would stay at Rossio Suites again. I had was concerned about the lack of reception facilities but this was not a problem during my stay.

United KingdomThe kitchen was in the basement, with no fresh air, and it smelled a bit bad (sewage-ish smell). The hallway also smelled a bit, although the rooms did not, so it was mostly fine. The close proximity to the accommodation is a bit dodgy.
Nice and spacious room, well-equipped kitchen. No one else was using it, so during our stay it was very tidy. Has AC. The area is fairly central.

SpainIt took a while to get into our room, we had to wait past the check-in hour to enter because it wasn't ready. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom, we also had to ask for toilet paper. Second dormitory doesn't have windows. Consider that the street where this place is located is up hill a little bit and it might look a little sketchy, but I felt safe and enjoyed my stay overall.
The place is really good for the price and it has an amazing common area with large kitchen. It surprised us in a very good way. The entire area was sparkling clean. Staff was friendly.

BelgiumThe locks to the room were a bit weak. Also, it's tiring to reach the place, but knowing that Lisbon is very hilly, it's normal I suppose. It was the workout of the day haha.
The room was comfortable and spacious and the location was good, close to the center, although uphill, with a very steep walk to reach it (so maybe not suitable for people with reduced mobility). The check-in went great, we arrived earlier to drop off our luggage (only possible from 11 am) and the staff was really friendly. The instructions were clear and later we could easily access our room. It was also possible to store your luggage at check-out (in a room with a code, so you have to trust the other travellers). They also have a common area with a sofa and a small kitchen with a fridge.

AustraliaThe beds were some of the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in. They were rock hard.
There is a large kitchen available below the suites with a fridge and f coffee machine (for £0.50). The property is also quite close to Rossio, although up some very steep hills!

BelgiumIf you arrive by public transport, you'll have to walk quite a steep street to get to Rossio Suites, so keep this in mind if you have a lot of luggage.
Rossio Suites is located in the city centre, very close to the metro stations and train station (Rossio), which makes it an ideal location to start exploring Lisbon. And public transport is the recommended way to travel around Lisbon. Check in went very smoothly, a friendly lady showed us our room and the shared kitchen/living room. Although the accomodation is located in the city centre, it was pretty quiet at night. Of course there is some noise, as it's still a city centre. The bedroom and bathroom are not that big, but very comfortable for a two night stay. It's also nice that the room has airco, which is really necessary in spring/summer in Lisbon.

United States of Americathe street noise (not their fault). the windows are directly on street level. The second night at 3am the city started power washing the sidewalks and our window area. and kept washing it. Woke us up - ongoing for 15 minutes. Then at 5 am someone started using power tools close by. No noise barrier. miserable night of little sleep.
amazing shower! great water pressure and lots of hot water. comfy beds. secure building. easy walk to the downtown area. easy walk to cafes and mini markets
