The building itself is noisy

Location is great, in the middle of Funchal. The breakfast is perfect. I loved the mushrooms! I will miss it. We would like to return!

No air-conditioner, only a ceiling fan. We stayed in September, and it was pretty hot for us. If you visit during the weekend, remember that it might be loud outside until 23:00.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. We arrived after 00:00, and the host provided detailed self-check-in information. It was easy to find the building. The room was pretty old, but all the facilities were good. The most significant advantage was the view. It was amazing! We had breakfast looking at the Funchal.

To hot in the room even with fan on and the light of the fan went on in the middle of the night sometimes. Suggestion to have something for mosquitos in the room or window.

The kitchen needs renovation, it wasn't very inviting to use. The locks didn't seem very safe and the pillows weren't very comfortable.

Decent hotel at a great location, the staff is very friendly and helpful. You can get breakfast separately for 10 € per person, it was okey for the price.

The mattress felt somewhat hard.

The apartments are located just a few minutes away from Funchal's city centre, so they are in an excellent location. If requested, as it was by me, the staff organises a taxi from and to the airport (one-way drive: 30€). Inside the small breakfast room in the reception house's basement there can be found a wide offering of breads, pastry, spreads, fruits, juices. The staff has always been sympathetic.

Everything was ok

It's a good option close to the center of Funchal. There is a mall and a supermarket nearby. The hotel is close to the airport bus stop 9. The Mercado dos Lavradores is a relatively short walk from the hotel.

We were on the second floor and the room was quite hot. We opened the window but the street noise was quite loud.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! So many home made options and variety, and everything was extremely tasty. The staff was also very nice and responsive and really helpful with storing our luggage.

A very nice place with super friendly staff. The rooms are old but very cozy and located in a very nice part of the city. Everything is walkable from there. The staff was so nice and helped us with everything we asked for.

The balcony was accessed through the bathroom which was a bit uncomfortable. There was an orange building light which shone into the room all evening/early morning.

The bed was enormous and very comfy. The balcony was lovely. The Nespresso machine in reception was a great touch (£1 per capsule).

The accommodation was tired in appearance, ie decor and furnishings and had a slight odour of the drains in the bathroom nor did it have an outside window to ventilate it. The pictures on AirB&B showed a balcony but our room didnot have one. There were no mosquito mesh screening at the windows so unfortunately we got bitten at night.

The location of the accommodation was excellent and very close to the centre of funchal so everything was in walking distance including shops, restaurants, attractions and transportation. The accommodation was very quiet and in a quaint street. it was clean and comfortable.

Kitchen area was a little worn out but still working and useful

Very delicious breakfast, nice staff, convenient location near the city center, restaurants and the shopping center. Very easy check-in. They offer to book you a transfer from the airport which was really helpful.
