Parking was secure but so difficult to get in and out due to other parked cars, that we only bothered to use the car once during our 4 night stay. There were no sachets of tea or coffee for us to have a cuppa when we arrived. We were 2 couples travelling together, and the other couple got the attic bedroom. It really was not suitable for two tall adults and it had no closet. Also the flooring needed some kind of sound insulation.

Location was excellent. It was well heated and quiet from the neighbours. It had a second downstairs toilet which was really useful. We could walk to train, restaurants, mini markets, old town and at least a couple of the local palaces. Sintra is beautiful and we loved being in the middle of it all.

Not fixed well glass door in the shower. Not fixed toilet seats. Although looked renovated, some materials are of very poor quality, that are damaged because of the humidity.

Exceptional location. Garage for parking in the centre of the city, which is very valuable when you are in Sintra, and we were allowed to leave our car in the garage for a couple of hours after check out. Airconditioning can be put both on cooling and heating. WiFi. Well appointed apartment. Friendly staff - thank you Teresa.

The beds were beyond firm, almost to the point of hard. The showers should have a temperature regulator on them as the water is scalding hot if you aren’t careful.

We had 2 rooms, both accommodated 4/5 people. The suites were very nice, complete with 2 full bathrooms and a washing machine. The staff at the check in were amazing! The location of one of the suites was right by the train station. It had very nice views from the bedrooms. The other suite was about a 7 minute walk, it also had lovely views and was very spacious and quite new. Check in was at the Sintra Bliss hotel. Kitchenettes were full of amenities for cooking and eating. I tried to include photos of the 2 suites from the outside. The room photos are of the suite near the train station.

When we first opened the apartment it smelt musty, this resolved quickly after turning on the fan and opening some windows. Also the water tank in the kitchen had a small leak and even after reporting this it continued to leak slightly.

Wondeful location in beautiful Sintra. Our host gave us great suggestions for restaurants and how best to navigate the sites we wanted to see. Apartment is close to all amenities yet very quiet. Overall a great experience. I would definitely stay here again if I am lucky enough to get back to Sintra in the future.

Motion light for bathroom was set for 10 seconds -terrible! Light was not very sensitive either - needed vigorous activity to activate/reactivate. Positively inconvenient when performing toilet, shower, or other bathroom activities. Whole apartment smelled musty.

Great reception staff who gave great information about the area. Great location. Parking was tight but secure.

Check-in is in another location which then requires you to walk up a huge amount of stairs to get to the street where the apartment is. You then need to go down another flight of stairs to the front entrance and another flight of stairs to go up to the apartment. Very difficult for anyone with mobility issues, plus with lots of luggage.

Excellent spacious and comfortable apartment in a fabulous location opposite the railway station.

Ventilation needs to be improved. Property had a very musty smell on first opening. We needed to open all windows on arrival. And the timer on the bathroom light was extremely irritating. Constantly plunged into darkness if you didn’t move even for 5 seconds please do change this.

Location and secure parking in central Sintra. Very helpful staff at check-in. Air con system which we could also use in heating mode to warm us in the wet and cooler weather we experienced.

No washing machine, iron (we were delivered an iron but the handle was broken). Initially no working plug in the kitchen sink although it was replaced. The light in the bathroom was a sensor and very annoying.

The location was close to the centre although quite a hill to walk up - but Sintra is all hills anyway. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment spacious.

The shower head kept falling, which was really frustrating 😒. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Sintra Bliss was central to everything. Train, taxi, bus tours, restaurants, cafes. Just a brilliant location. Situated right opposite the station, for easy access. Wifi included. Cutlery, plates.

It was hard to find a parking space close to the hotel. You have to check in at a hotel first before making your way to the apartment. Even at the start of October Sintra is very busy.

The location is amazing! The apartment was really nice and as we expected. The girl at the Check in desk at the hotel was A+, so helpful, friendly and gave us some great info. Excellent customer service.

There was nothing really to dislike about the apartment.

We stayed at The Sintra Bliss apartment which was actually in the middle of the town rather than the ones which are next to the secure parking. This worked really well for us. We collected the keys from 'Henry' who went above and beyond actually accompanying us to the apartment and also to the secure car park. He always answered any questions promptly and efficiently and was always pleased to help. The apartment was far better than I had expected it to be and although there were a few niggles this did not spoil our time there and were reported to reception when we left and so have hopefully been acted upon. The apartment is just across the road from the train station but we were not disturbed by the noise of the trains as the bedrooms are at the back. The fact we had two bathrooms was helpful as we were a group of three. The apartment had everything that we needed for our stay and from there it was easy to reach everywhere we wanted to visit. It wasn't a problem for us but there were quite a few steps from the street to the apartment and then again once inside the apartment front door. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Written instructions would help on how to locate the actual apartment as it is approximately 200 meters away from the hotel. (Maria again helped by walking out the front of the hotel and giving us directions where to go as she said Google would not help.) Written instructions would help on how to operate the coded key lock. It is a great idea as there is no need to carry a key around with you.

The apartment had a terrific layout with lots of character, modern and well appointed. Parking was off-street and secure behind a locked gate. Location-5 minute slightly uphill walk to the city centre and an easy 10 minute walk to the “old town”. A special thank you to Maria in the hotel reception who went out of her way to be of assistance to us.

Not so easy to find due to some missing information on Google Maps. Still, the staff kindly helped us over the phone.

Brilliant staff and service: on arrival, we had some complaints about the rooms, which were addressed inside very short time and we were offered a free upgrade. The property is located in a very calm and quiet area, while still close to the town centre. Private parking included in the reservation which is a great advantage in Sintra.

The instructions to get in were confusing. These apartments are owned by the Sintra Bliss Hotel up the street. On arrival you need to call or go to the hotel. In our apartment, the master bedroom & bathroom smelled musty. The upstairs bedroom & bathroom have low sloped roofs which are challenging for anyone over 5' and the stairway railing is wobbly. The kitchen is tiny & table has room for 3 at most. That said, for the price, this is a good apartment.

The location is terrific - right between the historic area and the main part of the town. Lots within walking distance, provided you don't mind the hills & stairs. It was very quiet here at night & the whole area felt very safe - we did a long walk late at night that was just beautiful. There is a path from behind the apartment up to the main road, which was a very short walk. The apartment has private locked parking, and is also adjacent to a public lot. We were within walking distance to many restaurants, but did Uber to the castles.
