I don't like rooms where I only get one key and it has to be used to turn the power on and off I locked my key in the room accidentally twice and had to have somebody come let me in if that happened in the middle of the night I would be in bad shape

The hotel is great, but the staff should be trained more. The rooms need proper cleaning.and renovation.

The location and territory of the hotel is excellent. The breakfast was good, but not enough for those who came to eat later.

The beach was perfect for swimming. The room overlooked the pool and the beach. We ate at the hotel restaurant and at other restaurants on the beach which are within walking distance. There are restaurants on the beach that offer outdoor dining, music and fire shows.

Bungalows are with much better interior and styling than the pictures. Common spaces, bar and restaurant are good. Pool has great view. Didnt have any problems with AC, a little weak, but enough at lowest speed at night. Of course, some little geckos in the bathroom, but you are booking a bungalow in the jungle. Have adequate expectations.

The location was perfect, quiet but very close to the white sand beach. Nice breakfast, comfy and clean room. Everything well maintained, tidy and beautiful view.

It was surprising that despite stunning new renovations, there were some things that the hotel has skimped on. This was unfortunately because they seem like quick fixes but seem to have been ignored. For example, there were no mosquito nets on the windows and so in order to open up and freshen your room, you have to spend 10 minutes killing mosquitos afterwards. This actually became quite a problem and we were bitten every night with 10+ of them flying around. I also didn't enjoy that the gym had no air conditioning which is quite crazy in the heat. No one used it in the day. The pool also went green for a few days at the end which wasn't ideal considering we paid for this place for pool use and gym use.

In general we thought that this hotel was pretty good. The location was good, the renovations looked really great, views were awesome and the pool area was nice.

They are blasting electronic music from 10.00 AM till the evening even though the bar is mostly empty. Also they start their “breakfast music” early in morning in every part of the resort. if you sleep with windows closed its fine but otherwise it wakes you up instead of the birds.

Big resort which seemed to be mostly booked by Russian All incl. travelers. Garden Villa was nice, a bit away from the main area which was good, because it can get noisy. Staff very nice and helpful! It doesn’t have a beach per se, but you can simply walk for 5 minutes and find the endless whitesand beach. Very good breakfast.

Rooms desperately need more power points for all the devices we have these days: I had two! And both of them were loose. The pool area could have been visited by staff occasionally, and swept of leaves etc. Sun loungers but no tables.

The bungalows were lovely and quiet, clean and very comfortable. The staff were helpful and always friendly. Nice restaurant. Water was complimentary every day and you could have as much coffee and juice as you wanted with breakfast. The pool was deserted and refreshing. The balcony was quiet and peaceful at all hours. The fitness studio had a great location and more equipment than most. Bathrobes and clean towels every day. The Grandview has the potential to be excellent.

The pool area and gardens were not particularly inviting meaning we did not hang around there during the day. There is no direct access to the beach there although it is only a short walk to access the beach and the bars there.

Staff very friendly and helpful with luggage etc Room was a decent size and the outside shower was quite a novelty. There was a great live band very early in the evening and some fireshows.

I would have liked a lot more if they had a sandy beach - u had to walk down concrete steps to the water. mattress was nice and soft pillows and the a/c didn’t blow in your face when sleeping like so many Thai hotels

Didn't like the smell of the first room upon arrival. It smelled like mold. Wasn't happy to see that there was no restaurant, tables out, or even microwaves for heating food.

It's about 200 meters south of the beach. The hotel staff was accommodating in our request to change rooms. The workout room was nice as it overlooked the ocean.

Overall good, plenty of space, but there were some mosquitoes in the room and the pool water was not very clean, there's no beach, bath towels not replaced in time

Lack of restaurant on site. guests receive a discount from the adjacent restaurant but prices are pretty high. Dodgy carpentry/joinery as external door wasn’t fitted correctly so large gaps visible allowing insects to enter room. Also, the AC unit was leaking pretty bad. This property could do with some TLC & maintenance to justify its relatively high price.

We tried to change our dates of stay, but were not able to do so through Booking.com, even though there were rooms available.

The location is excellent! It is located on White Sands Beach within walking distance of good seafood restaurants. At low tide, one can walk the entire beach. The sea is warm and clean for swimming. The hotel is located overlooking the beach. WIth the sea breeze and shade from the trees, it is pleasant to sit at the beach all times of the day. The hotel offered entertainment options every evening.

Breakfast perhaps a little underwhelming & could use an upgrade, but OK

Enjoyed a very good five night stay here. The rooms are lovely, everything in good working order, clean and fresh.. the grounds are very nice, with a tree-shaded area built above a little sea wall to the beach. The beach itself is clear at mid to low tide, like most places on the west coast, but here somehow there are none of the stones and big rocks that you get on other places, just soft white sand from the beach as far as you can walk out.. really nice. Staffs are lovely and value is good

I really hope the restaurant they are building is ready when I take my next trip. It looks good. Its taken a long time to build.

It's my favourite place to stay on Koh Chang. The staff are great. It's a lovely place very peaceful. The staff are very helpful and helped me hire a car which came on time and was in good condition. I really enjoyed my stay.
