Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FinlandWe were on our honeymoon but the staff didn't even mentioned it. Breakfast should include more western options. We didn't like the beach, you couldn't swim there. The little extra was missing.
The accommodation was great and really cozy. The area was clean and well maintaned. Staff was friendly and helpfull. We really liked the pool and the bathroom!

United States of AmericaAir conditioner very weak. Photos show jacuzzi but they do not work. Facility is aware that there is no jacuzzi despite including them in the photos. Low tide during the day. No beach.
Excellent staff. Very limited or nonexistent Thai breakfast. Western style breakfast was good. Staff picks up trash during low tide.

DenmarkThe restaurant prices were very strange. The starters cost the same, if not mare than, the mains. For example, springs rolls cost more than a Phad Thai with chicken. Starters shouldn't be so expensive. They don't have duck on the menu. In addition, I wish they made more of an effort in terms of taking care of transportation from the pier to the hotel in advance. It's a pain having to haggle with a random person upon arrival. Finally, it should be possible to borrow bicycles for free. It's a small and relatively flat island, so bikes would go a long way.
Nice bungalows, nice pool, friendly staff, decent breakfast buffet, generally clean and quiet :-)

BelgiumThere are two showers, on indoor, one outdoor, but water pressure on the indoor shower could have been better and could improve temperature regulation. Granted, this may not be easy on the island, and the showers are more than ample for proper use.
Staff was very diligent and helpful, even for Thai standards. There is a small, somewhat hidden, garden between the pool and the breakfast area with very nice flowers, bonsai and waterlilies. Worth a stroll. This place is a retreat, hence one of the few times we had a room without television which we think is just perfect. It's a place of rest, calm and quiet. The lounge with view on the ocean is perfect to read that book you've been meaning to get around to. The walkways across the lawn allow for easy access all over the grounds. We also saw a lot of unusual birds and butterflies on the grounds. This is a place I would recommend to friends.

CanadaThe photos were taken during high tide - if you are looking for a place to hop into the ocean and swim (like we were) look elsewhere. There is one small area to swim at high tide. We paid a premium to be right on the beach, and weren’t able to swim here at all. We made due, renting scooters and heading to a few other beaches, but were quite disappointed. Because you can’t swim in the ocean, people set up camp super early at the pool and stay there all day - and there aren’t enough lounge chairs to go around. Additionally, the pool PH was quite off, and the water was murky - it needs a good cleaning and rebalancing.
Lush greenery with birds singing - a calm place to chill. The breakfast was well prepared and fresh, the staff were kind and attentive, and the room was well appointed.

BelgiumNot enough beds at the pool. Room is outdated. We had a bungalow quiet far but had to go trough grass to get there. Not really a problem but at night it was super dark, full with gekko’s and frogs so not really pleasant to find your way back to your room this way.
The staff is very friendly (lots of staff)!

BelgiumCould use a bit of updating. Shower/toilet layout was a bit weird. Breakfast could improve. Could use more sunbeds at the pool area. Tip: put sunloungers at all of the rooms (now is a mix of beds, chairs, sunloungers: harmonise it)
Large rooms, nice location. Friendly staff. Price was good. Outdoor shower always nice to have. Very nice pool.

United KingdomThe breakfast wasn't fantastic, but it was nice enough. No obvious restaurant or bar, at least no menu advertised. Compared to other places we have stayed this hotel did not really justify the price or the four star rating in our opinion however it was very nice. We have stayed in cheaper places that are just as nice and slightly better in some areas.
Amazing pool and nice private beach. Lovely room with big comfy bed and nice outdoor shower and indoor shower. Helpful staff arranged motorbikes and transport to our next destination.

GermanyIt’s Asian style, but some tables next to the bed and some lights would make it even nicer looking, same for the restaurant area, it feels a bit lost with the space. The property is a bit outside so you need a taxi or scooter to get around which is a bit sad.
The Team Members are really nice and they are busy the whole time to keep the place in a great state. Big plus for the team! The pool area is great and it’s a very quiete area.

United KingdomConsidering this is a large and quite old resort it's in good condition and in a lovely beach front location. The lagoon is nice, with the bridges across. We enjoyed the wildlife; especially the various birds and fish we saw. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice for all cultures and tastes. The staff were efficient and friendly and all in all I felt the resort was good value for money and in a great location for exploring the island. I'd certainly recommend it to others.

PortugalThe hotel from outside is beautiful and we can clearly see that when it was built it must have been a wonderful place. The problem is that the years passed and it seems no one is interested in remodelling or do a proper maintenance. The breakfast area with plastic chairs couldn’t match the place. Breakfast was simple. The wooden passage to the villas was a bit dangerous as some strips were not stable. The rooms were clean, but the beds were old, the showers had low water pressure, basic amenities. It can’t be considered a 4star.
The pool area was beautiful. They have scooters to rent and the ladies working there were nice and polite!

United KingdomThe room was Beach Front No.1 and the waterfront was 2m away! Perfect - the view was unbroken - the best view we’ve had from any hotel. Staff were amazing, able to organise our boat transfer and motorbike rental at the front desk. Bike was brand new and in turn extremely safe as nothing was worn. Location is away from the hustle of the main beach but we like that.
