The accommodation is a nice place and good for the value of money you pay. We end up booking 2 nights extra.. Staff are helpful and the place is comfortable and clean. Close to nice restaurants and located in a quiet area. You can book anything there as they have a travel agency as well on reception. Overall a place I can recommend.

CanadaWe booked our room before we came to Thailand and chose the budget option of “fan” instead of “air conditioning”. This was absolutely our fault/ mistake for not thinking about how hot it might be. The building is made of concrete and the room was quite small (again we were aware of the size when we booked), we were constantly hot and the fan was definitely not enough for us to stay cool! It would have been nice to have a cotton bedsheet instead of the fleece blanket, or even both so you have the option of sleeping with some sort of cover without it only being a fleece blanket.
The staff were super friendly and helpful at Smile Resort, there was a little corner store that was attached to the resort which was really nice to have near by for beers or ice cream on our deck :)

Location was great, very near the middle of town, had lots of restaurants and some shops nearby,the staff were helpful and spoke great English, laundry onsite was useful too. Wifi was good.

Firm bed, but comfortable. Good air con. Easy to get around - either walk or tuk tuk. Close to good restaurants. Charlie Beach is beautiful.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Good shower and water pressure. Lovely communal patio with free tea and coffee all day. Loo roll amd bottled water dropped off at the room daily. Every single member of staff was absolutely lovely. They immediately arranged our onward travel for us via a private longtail boat (including hotel pick up AND hotel drop off in a private vip minivan after the crossing) at almost half the price of online prices we'd seen for speedboat tickets, can't thank them enough, it made the journey the most comfortable, relaxing and beautiful one yet. The hotel is in a quiet part of the island but easily walking distance to everything, or they also offer a taxi service. We used the same taxi driver, Pan, for the times we wanted to venture further and he was so friendly and helpful! We just dropped him a WhatsApp whenever we needed - he also gave us great tips for what to see around the island and where such as sea turtles, dugongs, tropical birds, the best beach for sunset etc. There's also a really handy minimart and laundry service as soon as you step out of the hotel gate with excellent prices and 2 wonderful restaurants within a 1min walk in either direction of the hotel. We loved everything about koh mook and our stay at this hotel! Thank you Smile Resort!
