All three hotels we stayed in had clutter on the stairs which in my view would be a hindrance in the event of an emergency. This one had the fewest obstructions.

Everything was very clean and the breakfast buffet was exceptional with a great selection of eggs, sausage, cakes, fruit and vegetables. I especially enjoyed the spinach and ratatouille whilst savouring a wonderful view from the 6th floor breakfast room over the 'Blue Mosque' and the Sea of Marmora with Hagia Sofia in the distance. The staff had a lovely old fashioned courtesy and a sense of humour; they were very helpful. The hotel could not be better placed for seeing the major sights.

You couldn't wish for a better location. During breakfast you'll have a nice view of the blue mosque. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel is very charming due to its exterior, interior and relatively small size.

It is not a bad point but a just caution. While it is nearby many huge mosque, you will hear "adan" in loud volume in early morning. You should bring your earplug for your comfort sleep.

Location is great, just in front of the blue mosque and easy access from the Sultanahumet tram stop. Breakfast with the beautiful scenary was also superb point of this hotel. You can see the blue mosque and the sea from the rooftop. We love the furniture, which is turkish. I cannot imagine any other hotels have better cost-satisfication ratio!

Having a Very kids friendly staff worked out really well for us. From the front staff Mesut and Farhat to the breakfast staff were all extremely friendly. Gave good advice and made all pre paid arrangements for private taxi to visit major landmarks. Location is exceptional with Blue Mosque, Hage Sophia, Topkapi palace all within walking distance. Overall great experience.

Wifi quality is bad. somehow also the wifi line it self (seems to be an infrastructure problem in the entire area as i understood from staff). Note that cars cannot park in front of the hotel, so if you get a taxi or transfer from the hotel, it will drop you 2 building next to the hotel. its not annoying once you know it (Google maps still thinks there is a street in front of the hotel).

Top Quality/Location/Price ratio in my opinion. The price is very fair and you get a local experience of people, place, and breakfast food in a very "tourist attraction" area. again all with quality and a very fair price. Breakfast food and roof top view is amazing. Location is amazing and Walking distance to the entire old city istanbul, as well as to marmary line and tram. Staff is very helpful and cooperative.

We loved the Alzer hotel. Great location right outside the Blue Mosque and AyaSofia. Having the restaurant downstairs provide room service as well made our lives easier with two kids. Great spot while staying in Istanbul and close to all key attractions. Staff also very helpful.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The proximity of the hotel to the main sights was perfect because everything was within a 5 to 10 minute walk away.Breakfast was consistent and the view was amazing. Get there early!

There were excellent breakfast options, the breakfast room has a beautiful view of Hagia Sophia, the Sultanahmet Mosque and the magnificent Bosphorus, the friends at the reception took very good care of us, and Mr. Mesut at the reception gave very important information about the important places to visit in Istanbul and offered nice tour options. There was not anything to complain about. The rooms were not huge but the time we spent there was cleanup and sleeping. Small price to pay for the tremendous central location.

The breakfast was wonderful on a top floor with a view of boat traffic on the Bosporus. The food selection was near unlimited and staff very friendly. The kitchen staff also serves the steer-side cafe. The front desk staff very helpful with helping to make our visit to Istanbul a great experience. The staff helped get our laundry cleaned before we left for Greece. Highly recommended.
