“I booked a double room as that was the only option on booking.com so was expecting a small bedroom with a standard double bed. Instead we got a studio style apartment which opened into a kitchen area with tv and sofa. The bathroom was separate and then the bedroom which also had a tv was large with a king size bed. Plenty of room for us to hang out and relax together or separately. That was a very pleasant surprise as the rate was so reasonable. This hotel is being managed by a husband and wife team who are a year into a renovation project. This is an early 1900’s building originally built to provide housing to dam construction workers and there is a lot to do. However they are off to an excellent start as you will see from all the little touches they have in the rooms for the comfort of their guests.”
