“The idea of the "French" family was to find the American-style motel off the beaten path. So, we weren't disappointed. Close to Monterey, Carmel, and the 17 Mile Drive. The US-made motel is ideally located, with comfortable beds, spacious rooms, coffee maker... everything is perfect... with peace and quiet (in May). A big thank you to the reception team who connected us on the chat for our arrival.”
“This was the best hotel we stayed in our 10 days in California. The most confortable bed and linen I ever slept in. Worst every penny: magical garden, great views, great staff. It has a lot of rules around and remind me of begging at my grandmother house (in a good way). Fresh flowers in living room decorated with style. A truely special place”
“Good location near to Lovers cove and the Beach House Restaurant which was very good. Tired decor but everything worked and the bed was very comfortable. Nice to be able to make a drink at anytime and reasonable breakfast although nothing hot.”

Breakfast offerings were mostly continental, although you could make yourself toast or a tasty waffle in the waffle maker.”
“Hotel was very good: friendly and helpful personal, not very new but clean rooms and all facilities were in order. Everyday cleaning, coffee and tea at the reception and hot water whenever you need. Location is just 5 min walk to the Asilomar state beach and trail. A bit far from the city centre and touristic attractions but it might be a Plus, depending on what you are looking for. Highly recommend staying here.”
