The hotel is most conveniently located near Times Square and is relatively close to anything interesting in Manhattan. The room was clean and comfortable; the staff were friendly and helpful. The lack of breakfast service would be the only blemish, but they are setting it up. The price is high by normal European standards, good by Manhattan standards.

*Maintenance in the next room until midnight and by 7 am our first night. Too much noise. *Bathroom needs non stick mat for outside shower. Huge!!! liability. No shower curtain, water all over the bathroom floor after a shower. Shower tiles not slippery but floor tiles are! One bath towel not enough. Not a good situation…

1 elevator for all floors and it is slow. Took forever and waited in line just to get into my room.

Room was great and clean. Only issue was check in time being pushed another 30 minutes after because no rooms were ready. Also my fridge was not working at all in the room and all food I put in there overnight spoiled.

in real life the room was disappointing..it didn't look as much as the photos shows.. the way to operate the shower is very uncomfortable.. it felt like a dorm room..

the staff are always sweet and welcoming..security was good too.. bed is comfortable..the location is good. overall worth the price for the location.. in nyc you're mostly outside.

An elevator was out; the Basic room was like a large closet and it didn’t even have a chair to sit in; yes, it did have a larger bed frame —a ledge to sit on but this is only ok for small people or younger folks who can manage this type of arrangement. Not for me ever again.

Windows are not sound proof (extremely noisy at night as it is right in the middle of Times Square), room is very small, and seems bigger in the photos.

Due to the location and the hotel being surrounded by large buildings it is kind of dark.

Great hotel with a 5 min walk to Times Square. You do have to have in mind that it is really loud due to the location. We had to use earplugs (but were aware of it) so no complaint here. The staff was really nice and made us feel welcome. Room was not big but okay for two people and two small suitcases.

No coffee maker. Had I known there was a hot pot I could have brought coffee. No one likes instant coffee. Also, a rain shower makes it difficult for women who take a shower but prefer to not get hair wet. There are many women travelers and the room felt more geared towards a male. These are my complaints but otherwise really enjoyed my visit. Plus I ❤️ NYC!

Very thin walls to next door guest and hallway so easily woken up if people return late and chat in room. One lift broken out of 2 and a looong wait as cleaners used same lift. Better knowledge on the city for European visitors needed for reception. Such as various types of places to eat, areas to visit, best guided tours, local dos and don'ts. Sustainability Wastage of changing towels way too often. An idea would be to add a sign seen in other hotels about "be kind to environment" and if guests need towels changed to leave on floor in bathroom when needing room cleaned.

Perfect location, very comfortable beds and super clean and fresh and stylish interior, great quality shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Friendly and knowledgeable staff at reception. Suggestions for better use of the room: - to add a small rail on wall next to sink to keep hand towels and a couple.of hooks by door to hang a wet jacket - change the round table to a square one. The round table is very inconvenient for beat utilisation of space - cannot make coffee, and read / write / plan the days activities without having to put stuff in th floor/bed. Had to move phone on the floor as in the way.

They forgot restock the bottle of waters everyday, even after we had ask for it two days in a row, however they were very receptive and gave us the water at the lobby when we asked for it. More light in the hallways would be great.

It was very loud, both street noise and from the hallway and neighbouring rooms. The room was far more dated in appearance than the pictures.

Great location and helpful staff. The room was a good size for one person but would be very tight for two as there was no way to access the other side of the bed than to climb over.

Do not try to get in or out of the hotel in a hurry, because that elevator knows when you're in a rush and it will take its sweet time going to every other floor but yours and then arrive on your floor somehow empty.

Always friendly, responsive staff at the desk and in the lobby. Fantastic location for getting around and the street it's on felt safe to walk down at all times! The room itself was small but it's New York, you're not in 'the city that never sleeps' to spend time in your hotel room. The bathroom was very clean and looked stylish, plus easily accessible for less abled visitors. There's a safe in your room for passports/valuables. Double-glazed doors on our window/patio kept out the noise of Times Square super well.

The noise at night. I was in a room that was on the 3rd floor at the front of the hotel. Rubbish collectors at 2am. Road works at 3am. Lots of loud talking coming from the venue next door. I was woken every night I was there. Ask for a room at the back of the hotel for a more peaceful sleep. Not mush that the hotel can do about it. It didn't spoil my stay. I would stay again.

I loved everything. The location was amazing with Starbucks across the road, and less than 2 minutes stroll you're in time Square. Subway Stations within walking distance. Everything on your doorstep. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. Greeted me when I returned back to the hotel and wishing me a nice day as I left. Thank you all.

Roommate Grace Hotel used to occupy that space & I don’t know how much time passed before the new establishment established itself at 125 W 45th but upon entering my room, I noticed the heavy aroma of cleaning products with an undercurrent of mildew. Opening my window & running the fan alleviated the issue inside my room. However the undercurrent persisted in the hallways of the 12th floor.

Visited with a friend, we had emailed prior to arrival to ask for our rooms to be on the same floor, however this was not facilitated.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were incredibly helpful. The location was absolutely fantastic, so close to everything we wanted to visit.
