Comforter on bed was old and worn. Gap under door where bugs could get in. Clerk gave someone a key to our room without checking to see that we were still in it.

The sheets were dirty, as well as the comforter. They gave me only clean sheets at the receptions and I had to changed them. They didn’t have more comforters

When I booked online, my CreditCard was charged in CAD because I'm from Canada. When I arrived, the guy at the counter wanted to see my online booking and charged the CAD amount in USD!!!! If took me a while to get some money back, so I ended up with some USD cash in my pocket. When I asked for the wifi password, the answer was: our wifi is so slowly, it's not worth to use it...... I had to buy additional USD 20 for my dog which wasn't mentioned in the description.

Carpeted floors were wet and squishy, bed was hard with stained and torn sheets. Door to the adjacent room didn’t lock well, and was blocked with a chair. You can easily hear voices from the next room. It seems like it is full of people who live there full time (old mattresses and appliances outside, the sound of domestic disputes). We didn’t even bother staying the night, and just went home early.

Close to dining and down town, short drive to the ski park.

There was nothing about this motel that was good! Dirty, black mold in bathroom, plug in for hair dryer in bathroom did not work. Bed was so squeaky! Flat pillows! Air cooler was so loud we couldn't sleep. Too hot to turn it off. We did not sleep most of the nite. Please, do not stay at this piece of crap motel!!!!

This place belongs in a horror movie. Dirty carpets, filthy beds, and stained bedding are some of the plethora of issues this hotel displays.

The beds were so old and hard that they creaked every time we shifted at night. The sheets and blankets were stained and heavily perfumed. The hand towel had someone else's toothpaste on it that ended up ON MY HAND when I used it, assuming it would be clean, and one of the wash cloths had a giant blue stain, and given the towel, I couldn't know if it had been laundered. Walls were thin enough to hear entire conversations from the next room, who had their tv on til 3am. If I had intentionally sought out the worst possible place to stay, I could not have done better.

It’s older so lacks conveniences I’m more accustomed to.

The property is close to I-5. Owner is friendly, and met us at our late arrival time. I was hesitant to book after reading the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. Our room was spacious containing 3 queen beds and a vintage sofa. Bathroom facilities were adequate. I did not use the shower, but water pressure was good in the sink. A small kitchenette with a table for two was in room as well. The Gold Room Saloon is across the street, offering popular music, a few tasty food options, beer, wine, and mixed drinks. It’s walking distance to the myriad of shops and eateries in town. Overall it had a decent vibe, and subtle spice scent similar to staying in an occasionally used spare room at my Aunts house during the seventies or a church camp cabin. Trains pass occasionally throughout the night blowing their whistles, enjoyable to me. My party of five concluded we could all stay here again.

other guests were not vacationing guests, they seemed to be full time residents and had significant social problems, fought with each other at all hours. No sleep either night I was there. Police got involved on the second night. Pretty horrendous. Shower took an extraoridnarily long toime to get hot, considering there is a drought...

noting that I can single out. Well, one person. The resident caretaker was wonderful and helped us find a few things around town.
