Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe WiFi in the room was absolutely horrible. The peformance was very poor and it broke nearly every minute. In the lobby it was okay.
We had a broken water tap in our room and got a new one immediately after we addressed the problem to the staff.

FranceMaybe more information in the description for better planning?
The place is just right off the highway but very quiet, except for the noisy frogs right next to the old water mill (we like the sound of nature so it was nice to hear, but if you're sensitive to the sound you can ask to have your room farther from it). The home baked biscuits offered when checking in were very good, and it's amazing to relax at the warm jacuzzi on a misty day. We made good use of the pool and the jacuzzi during our stay there. Room was clean and spacious. Their bakery made the best croissant I've seen in the US!

United KingdomThe only genuine aspect to the (fake) 'historic' character is the poor lighting in the rooms, and one has to come down to the lobby for a (small) coffee or tea - with no genuine milk available. (Rather like the grandfather clock, it's not real)
It's easy to find, the rooms are clean & spacious, parking is easy & there are some good restaurants within walking distance.

Cayman IslandsApple Farm Inn is a charming, cozy hotel. I visited with my husband and two sons and they all had a fantastic time since arrival. We were given these delicious chocolate chip cookies and there were complimentary beverages of coffee and warm apple cider. The grown ups were invited to a wine tasting at the restaurant with a lovely gift shop just upstairs. We were able to secure gifts for our family, friends and colleagues. The room was spacious, cozy and clean. After we settled in we hit the pool and the hot tub. Which was a fantastic way to unwind. The location is great, very close to a range of restaurants and shopping. We were especially fond of the water mill

United States of AmericaI didn’t like the water and the hotel is very low. The hot water is at lukewarm, which is totally unacceptable especially after a hard days of work I’ve stayed in the bungalows where the hot water was amazing so I was highly disappointed to know that in the main hotel, the water pressure is low the hot water not acceptable and I don’t understand why the two locations are so bipolar from each other.
I didn’t eat breakfast there. I start work really early but the rooms are clean. It’s very comfortable and it’s cute that they have little fireplaces in there.

United States of AmericaThe property was well maintained and the room looked as described. It was spacious, clean, had ample lighting, and was comfortable! There were plenty of parking spots and a gas station right next to the property which was neat. A lot of nearby restaurant options to choose from as well. All in all, would recommend!

United States of AmericaI wish the restaurant was open for breakfast lunch and dinner. The hot tub needs some work as it is a little dirty and falling apart and half the jets in the hot tub don't work. The pool also needs to be cleaned. The beds in the room were way too hard, I couldn't sleep for two nights.
I loved the decor of the rooms and the inn itself. So beautiful. I loved the warm temp pool and the hot tub. I loved the hot apple cider that was served and the warm cookies we got upon arrival.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom had a pull door instead if a standard door, bit it gave the bathroom more room so I guess it had to be set up that way.
This was a cute Inn. The room we stayed in had a comfortable king size bed and there was a sitting area with a loveseat. It was a large room and it was quiet. All of the staff associated with the inn were friendly and kind. Hotel was at the end of a series of standard hotels but this one was more unique.

United States of AmericaThe bed is four-poster style. The poster at the foot of the bed obstructs the view of the TV if you are in the bed on the right side.
Room was decent and clean. We have stayed here before in the main building. This time we were booked for one of the motel rooms located on the grounds of the property. I didn’t know we would not be in the main building. The room is smaller and the sink is located in the bedroom area and not inside of the bathroom. Heater was very loud.
