To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

When you step in, it feels very warm and welcoming with the gentle country vintage feel & decor. The room was very spacious and had a nice seating area with plenty of light from the bay window. The bathroom was nice & clean and basic in the needs of a bathroom. Lastly, the restaurant on property of the same name was fantastic.

United States of AmericaNo room service. Wish the restaurant would return to its former self. The food is still good fortunately, but I miss that wonderful gift shop. In fact while waiting to be seated for lunch, six different women in the gift shop mentioned to me how much they miss the previous gift shop inventory. It is "ok" now, but it was wonderful in the previous years. One of the ladies mentioned that she just texted her adult children that she could not purchase items they could have purchased before because those items are no longer part of the limited inventory of today. It was another reality check after Covid. sadly. I hope that will change going forward. Also wish it would be easier to extend the time the fireplace runs.
Our bed was so comfortable!!! Hard to willingly get out of it! Had to cuz there is No room service! The decor was so tasteful and relaxing. Very comfortable furniture. Sweet fireplace.

United States of AmericaIts very common, but I don't like how cold the tile floors are in the bathroom. I think hotels should consider placing a solid rug in the bathroom for greater comfort of guests. Also, the fireplace shuts off after a very short time.
The beds were very comfortable, and we really loved the little sitting area in our room, and enjoyed just spending time in the room.

United States of AmericaThe restaurant was only open from 7-12pm and we were told at one point that there would be free breakfast in the hotel lobby during the weekend which wasn’t true, free snack bags were available on the weekdays though.
The property was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. It was also a 15 minute drive to downtown so pretty close to everything. They also had a restaurant, wine cellar and market place on site which was convient

We got an early check in (AWESOME) then went out and about... when we came back, room service had come in and threw away our wine tasting tickets and left over cookie. I think there was a small break down in communication that we were there. Not the end of the world - we missed the window to wine taste anyway - otherwise we would have asked for help.
This is a cute hotel. It's clear that carpet on our floor is older so there was a smell.... but the room did not have this. Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the window shutters closed easily to make the room darker for napping/sleeping in. It's close to a lot of things (shopping and restaurants) and easy on and off from the freeway.
