You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThat there was No ceiling fan cover and it is very dusty,as well as the heater/ac unit had no buttons so couldn't turn on and it is very cold this morning and last night. Then the thing when picking the room it said it had a fridge and microwave but it did not.
That the room I had this time was cleaner than any other room I've stayed in at the Motel 6. Front desk girl was awesome

United States of AmericaGarbage bags in the hallways, non smoking room reeked of cigs, tv didn’t work, wifi didn’t work, hair in the tub upon arrival. People fighting in nearby rooms and people crying in the hallways and hanging out in stairwells. One person sitting on stairs refused to move when I tried to go up the stairs to my room with my dog who is scared of people. Total dump, Felt unsafe and gross. Did NOT meet motel 6 standard. Another lady was asking for a refund because of how gross the rooms were.
The bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and the water was hot and there was coffee.

I'm not sure the sheets and pillow-case were laundered. Top sheet missing. no spread, only an old blanket. people hanging out near front door and behind desk. The door locked worked which was a plus!

CanadaPolice cars patrolling the parking was both concerning and comforting. The entry nearest our room was ziptied so it wouldn’t lock. The smell was off-putting. The room was clean but in disrepair (flooring chunks missing and enamel coming off tub). We didn’t die and we weren’t robbed! 👍🏼
It was a place to sleep after a long day of driving.

United States of AmericaNo hot water yesterday and today until 949pm tonight the locks on doors shut down meaning had to get them to unlock the door any time I had to leave the room or chance it and have everything stolen so figured that not wise so of we locked the door following the only option and get back and they've locked the keys in a room that doesn't work wait hour in the heat with an abscess to get back in side after they unlocked and no towels or room amenities toilet tissue or trash bags ever offered no discount offered even though there was no hot water since the night before
