Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was dirty and the shower curtain smelled really bad. There was dirt and bugs all over the window sill. Dust on the lamps. Floor was really dirty too.
It’s pet friendly and beachfront.

The stickiness in the first room we got. Smelled so smoked up. We asked for a different room and they were able to get a better smelling one the still a bit stinky. No hottub. Sucked a lot cause all of the other hotels nearby had gorgeous ones. Toilet flushed weak and badly. The lights for the bathroom are outside of the room which sucked cause my friends constantly turned them off when I was inside. No free breakfast, you already pay a lot for the room and you have to pay separately for the breakfast which is waaayyyy overpriced. Verbo is my next shot. You can find cheaper hotels that are nicer looking and include everything and even more.
The location and the staff were so polite.

Our toilet was clogged when we arrived and wasn’t fixed until we called twice and finally the next day they came. We called for blankets twice and none came until we went to the front desk three days later. We were there for four days and not once was our room cleaned. They emptied our trash only after we confronted maintenance. We asked them to sweep our floors and nothing. We had to get our own toilet paper from the front desk. The tv did not work. Anytime we called for service or went to the front desk we were met with a smile and told they would fix everything and then nothing got fixed. The property was covered in trash and cigarette butts everywhere.
The beach access was wonderful.

The fridge wasn't holding its cool. There was a gap of plastic striping gone.
I saw alot of bad reviews. Glad we didn't experience any of those. our room was decent sized. The TV is small and not many channels but we stayed on the beach so no problem.

The beds were very uncomfortable, blankets felt like curtains and didn't keep us warm at all. Asked for towels twice and never received them.

All the loud teens and the smell of marijuana coming into the room when the ac came on. I didn't like not having access to the other pools on the property. The tv was very small and remote had issues with some buttons not working.
Beds were comfortable and proximity to the beach was nice.

Second night people with music really loud past 1:30 am for about 45 minutes. People arguing and throwing stuff and nobody came colme down the situation, we had to ask for toilet paper twice and room was not clean.

The room wasn’t as clean as it should have been, there were wet spots on the floor, (was not clean water from mopping, I cleaned it up, was black on the towel) Floors still felt sandy. The mattress on the futon was incredibly thin and very uncomfortable.
Location was great. Beachfront was awesome.

It wasn’t as clean and comfortable I’ve stayed in cheap motels that had better beds
I liked that I was in the beach but the parking lots were far from the rooms, the pools were not heated or indoors , no hot tub , it was a quite location which was good . Panama City in all was a bad trip this time . I went back to my home time 6 hours away the next night because the fire alarms went off at 2 am and woke my children up.

On our second night we called front desk because people were banging and running in front of our door and it was after 10 PM. A lady came up and told them we were the one’s who called. That information should not have been told to our neighbors. The rooms are not insulated very well we could hear the couple above us arguing and that pretty much sums it up

Roach, thin scratchy bedding, tiny tv, attached rooms with very thin walls (you hear everything). Smelled smoke of the other room. Tiny tv.

The ceiling had something on it. The breaker box had dust and was aweful. The rooms could have been cleaner. The staff could have been nicer during check in and out process.
I like the view of being a short distance from the beach and be by the pool so my children could play and relax.
