The beds were very soft and I prefer a firm bed. But it wasn’t horrible.

The facility was very nice! We loved the little creek that ran out back!

the balcony area is so relaxing - the sound of the river was amazing, however, the railing and concrete floor needed sweeping and the chairs wiped down. No big problem, just an observation.

Breakfast was a wide variety and in a nice facility.The food was really good but not really hot. That's the only issue I had. The trolley stop is right by the office, very convenient!

The location was great and the breakfast was great. It was nice having a patio on the back and listen to the creek in the back of lodge.

The bathtub didn't drain well and the room was a little dark. Housekeeping came the first day of our stay but didn't come back after.

The view from the balcony was wonderful. The property was great, and every room had a view of the water. The price was great and worth it for us to stay again since we enjoyed the property.

Loved that Cindee called to let us know that our room was ready at 11:55 am, so we could check in early if we wanted to. And if I wasn't involved in a very heated, come from behind attempt, mini-golf game at the time, I would have. Still checked in at 2 something, which is better than 4:00pm. As usual, the location is incredible. The room was cleaner than the last time we stayed. The beds were pretty comfortable. Yes, we tried them both. You can not beat the breakfast for $5. And check-out was a breeze. Enjoyed our stay very much, this time.

The meds were a little older and one mattress was a bit saggy, but still comfortable enough for the few nights we stayed.

It made you feel like you were in a cabin without paying pricing. It also had a large fridge that had an actual freezer, which was great if you are staying for a longer time. I also loved being right in the creek.

Everything was good. I just didn’t like the floor my socks were filthy every night I put a towel on the floor to wipe my feet on before I got in bed. I had to ask the room service to come in and mop them. He politely did. They need to us a mop and bucket to clean the floors instead of the squirt and mop swiffer style. The Breakfast was good although it was the exact same every morning for 7 days. The servers were great. The whole staff was great

Though the room was clean, the tub faucet dripped, and the hotel itself needs cosmetic repair. Maybe it was because we were there in early April, but it seemed the hotel was passed it's heyday.

We enjoyed the sound of the brook behind our room and wished the weather was warmer to enjoy the balcony, pool, and maybe a fire. Breakfast was very good and served by a friendly server. The hotel was in walking distance to the main strip.

After Twin Islands burned several yrs ago, Brookside is the only place we stay. We generally go at least 2-3xs a year.

The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were not in the best shape. The elevator was sketchy and the exercise room equipment was in poor condition and would not turn on. There was no soap in the dispensers to wash hands after use of the equipment.

The balcony by the creek and the location was nice. The turndown service was good. Plenty of towels and necessities convenient breakfast option and friendly staff.

While it was clean it definitely needs some spring cleaning. The rooms haven’t been updated in a while and could use a fresh coat of paint. Also to have to pay for breakfast was a little much since this is a given at most places now a days.

The property is in a good location to everything but not in the middle of everything. The scenery with the creek right behind the property is beautiful. The staff that checked us in were very friendly and welcoming. They also spoke when we saw them throughout the stay.
