This was a great value stay close to Bryce National Park. While it was a little further from the park entrance than I initially thought, it does provide an amazing view when driving around the other side of the park. I really couldn't have been happier with this stay.

Lack of breakfast. I appreciate this is a motel but I believe you could gain by getting breakfast prepared by the restaurant at guests expenses. Also there is not much sound isolationin the bedrooms and it seems that beds/headboard are against the same wall.. I could hear all conversations from the people next door

What I liked is the entire complex is set up as a village (in the name) meaning having allocated room, have a restaurant (with musician), pool, hot tub. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good, only 15-20 min from Bryce Canyon National Park but also close to a pretty site that has a have and waterfall (Mossy cave).

Very uneven floor in the chalet we stayed in, the bed clothes weren't great - a blanket as opposed to a duvet. The shower curtain let out a fair bit of water onto the floor. Not the best value compared to other places we stayed on our trip.

Great location, on site restaurant, fire pit in the back garden of the chalet. Friendly staff.

There wasn't anywhere to sit except for 2 wooden barstools. A table and chairs would have been nice. The door wiggled every time someone shut a door.

It was fairly close to Bryce Canyon National Park. Also next door to a convenience store/grill. They also had a restaurant on site. The rooms were small but at least it had a shower, which is the reason we moved from the previous property.

Bathroom tap was barely a dribble and no bathtub to use water from.. The girl at the desk was helpful and called the maintainace man who wasn't immediately available. Fortunately my husband had a leatherman and was able to take the screen off the faucet and fix it himself. The walls are not very sound proof and one night neighbors were up late and we could hear muffled voices until 1:30 am when I finally banged on the wall and all was quiet.

A great option for being close to Bryce Canyon. Would stay again even though it's rustic. It was part of the experience of our type of vacation og doing the Big 5 as econically as we could.

Our view was of the gas station parking lot next door and we had some initial trouble getting into our room (key fob) but the staff was quick to help

The check-in process was smooth, the restaurant was good and the staff was friendly. We were able to purchase s'mores kits at the restaurant to use the fire pit which was a nice touch. It was conveniently located to the park.

Waitress staff in the restaurant inefficient.

Tropic is a little away from the main Bryce Canyon City bustle, and has a homely country charm. The BPV itself is spacious, clean and tidy, and has character. Complimentary coffee in Reception (rather than in one’s room), is very good. Tasty food in the C&W themed restaurant.

    Nothing.

It was perfect for an overnight while Visiting Bryce. The Queen rooms are small cabins and were clean. The property is fun - campfire, pool and hot tub, nice restaurant on site. All of the staff were so friendly. It is a great value.
