walls are way too thin. you can hear everything; even others having conversations in the room next to you. we had to keep the TV on during the night in order to sleep because we could hear the people above us & next to us the entire time.

We stayed here for a wedding and none of the AC units worked in any of the rooms. Rooms were hot and humid, and would not cool off even with windows open.

The location to the beach, and San Diego are very convenient. King Room was very clean and spacious.

Just be aware wedding guests stay here and they can be noisy and drunk late into the night. We had a group next to us that kept going till 3 am in the morning despite us complaining to the night reception and a warning from security. Upon check out I spoke to reception about the issue, they were very apologetic and offered to reimburse me for one night stay. I also wrote an email to the general manager and he promptly followed up with an apology, and an assurance that he has briefed the security team to be much more effective in managing guests who are unruly.

Clean, comfortable and conveniently located across the road from outlet shopping and The Windmill food place. Excellent handling of noise complaint by reception staff and general manager.

Front office staff. We got to the hotel around 8pm after a 7hrs road trip and the front desk person (asian lady) just came from the back office, didn’t said good evening or smiled or make any eye contact, she just asked if we had a reservation and asks for ID and a credit card. I’m sorry but I work in the hospitality industry and front desk staff should be more attentive with guest. unfortunately she was not the only one because there was 2 more gentlemen’s during the day shift who had same attitude. They should take some Customer Service training and try to apply the 5-10 rule.

Our next-door neighbor was too loud. They were playing loud music, banging walls and even knocking so hard on our door.

The room had a mouldy smell upon entering. Not actually sure where it was coming from because everything looked clean. The bath/shower combo is in need of an update. And the pool heating wasn't working during our stay which meant it was too cold to swim. If it wasn't for the damp mouldy smell in our room I would have rated this place higher.

The location was awesome. Across the road from an outlet, the flower fields and some amazing places to eat. Only a short shuttle drive (free from the hotel) to Legoland which was the main reason for our visit. They also offer a free shuttle into Carlsbad Village. The pool area was lovely even though it was cooler during our stay. Our room was quiet and a decent size. I liked how our back door opened directly into the pool area on the ground floor. The beds were also comfortable. The self-service laundry was an added bonus too.

It took us some time to find our room, I hope there are more clear direction signs at night.

Walking distance to Legoland, and parking permit remains valid till the end of the day after check-out. There are secured entrances from parking lot to hotel room buildings.

The shuttle to Legoland—convenient and reliable! The hotel is across the street from the outlet mall, so we could walk there and grab a bite to eat. Every staff member was friendly!

The noise in the room at night. When walking bare foot everything in the room shakes. The small fridge makes louds noise at night

Our room door faced the freeway and it was beyond noisy - to the point where we had trouble sleeping. If you stay here be sure to request a room that doesn't back up to the freeway! It's also a larger properly and a bit confusing making your way around (need to unlock various gates and such.)

Location is perfect for Flower Fields and outlet mall visit.
