The room interior could use some updating to look nicer. It would have been better to not have carpet in the room.

I liked the location of the hotel. It was right at the beach. The room I stayed in was ground level with a small sitting area on the beach side and also had lounge chairs in the sand. It was a nice area.

The soda machines wouldn’t accept my cash or card and the stairs had very poor lighting. Elevator would often take forever.

The location was amazing!!! It was on coastal highway with everything nearby. It was beachfront, but about a 30 minute walk to the boardwalk. The parking was a huge lot that was private!! The pool was very big. There is a restaurant/bar on the property. The staff was very friendly. For a cheap hotel, it was a very good stay!!

Room cleaning. We only got the bathroom restocked after the first night. Nothing done after second night.

The room was clean, but for some reason it triggered my asthma. Maybe the air was stale or something. Not sure what the hotel could have done, but just letting other asthmatics know. My husband and toddler were unaffected.

Room was a little "worn" but that was fine for the price.

Room was exactly as described. Beautiful ocean view. Bar/restaurant was delightful. Happy hour was excellent.

Maybe a roll of paper towels in the kitchen & cleaning up the chicken wings that were on the ground by the pool for days.

My only complaint was that the bathroom was small. lol

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved that we could eat at the restaurant located on the property as well as enjoy the bar and outdoor seating. Live music was a plus as well as the access to the beach. We will go back.

The building we stayed in could really use a do-over. Old and somewhat smelly. Limited options in the kitchen; could do with an electric kettle, some coffee making accessories

The room was dated, but with some improvements noted. We were not happy with the cleaning. On the first day, the staff was on our floor all day yet we were left wondering if anyone was coming in at all. When they finally did, all that was done was to give more coffee and sugar. In the meantime, buckets, paper, dirty rubber gloves and cleaning materials were in the middle of the hall, leaving little room to pass. We decided to leave the “do not disturb” sign on the door for the next two days and get what we needed from the office. One time the elevator was unavailable as the cleaning staff had it occupied.

The office, bar, and wait staff were very good, friendly and helpful We had breakfast one morning at the buffet which offered many options at a good price. We also enjoyed drinks and listened to music at Coconuts, the outdoor bar area daily.

The hotel needs updating. The toilet was too low, hard to get seated and up again, especially for someone in their 80's. The shower head was too low. The kitchen appliances all needed to be replaced, they were all rusty.

The location, the beach, we like sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean. It is very peaceful.

Charming quaint yet with modern amenities. I like the old ocean city character instead of an "Ikea" box. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful.

One day, I got new towels as the room got cleaned. However, the following day, no room was cleaned, and I had to ask for clean towels.

I don't like how you can hear every MOVE OF the people upstairs in the cottages. It would be nice if the T.V. had more of a variety of other cable channels.

Elevator was a bit small and slow, but that's a minor complaint. They also still use actual keys! That was fine, but in an age where some hotels allow you to unlock your room from your smartphone, I was surprised to get a physical key (and anxiety about losing it!)

Really enjoyed staying here. We booked last minute to attend the Oceans Calling concert at the end of September after original accommodations with a friend didn't work out. The price was right, but considering the last minute nature, I wasn't expecting much. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. The room we had was ocean front with two double beds. The view was beautiful. Rooms were clean with modern updates. It was fairly quiet, although you could occasionally hear folks outside on the window side. The hallways were definitely aged though, dimly lit and roasting hot. Exterior of the hotels looked like a castle. It's not Excalibur in Las Vegas, but it's cute. My wife and I commented that our kids (age 12 and 10) would get a kick out of the exterior décor. (We didn't have kids with us, but it looks like they have children's activities throughout the summer from the website.) Coconuts bar was right under our portion of the hotel. Again, would probably be super fun in the summer months, but wasn't very crowded when we were there. Enjoyed a couple of very nicely made drinks. There was a breakfast restaurant/ice cream shop on the bottom floor of our hotel tower, but we didn't get a chance to check it out. Menu looked good though. The weather wasn't conducive for swimming in the pool (although that didn't stop a few people), but there is also a huge, Olympic-sized swimming pool at the front. Finally, the staff was awesome and very helpful, which can make all the difference. Parking was plentiful and the location was great for walking to restaurants, the boardwalk, the convention center, etc.

We weren't happy with how filthy the floors were. The kitchen had not been cleaned 😕 either. Other then that we like the Castle.
