I booked and paid for a room, drove 5 hours where the desk person laughed when he informed me the room I paid for was unavailable

Our room hadn't been cleaned at all after previous guests checked out. Beds were unmade (had blood splatter on the sheets), trash was left in the room, on the floors & can was full. The amenities had not been replaced & there were used, dirty linens hanging in the shower. Several rooms were missing door handles & looked like the doors had been kicked in.

We were offered a replacement room when we told the desk attendant that our room had not been cleaned. The hotel was also very close to AU, which is where we were going.

The first room I was assigned to was one in which the refrigerator was broken and the TV was broken. I was given a second room which was a smoking room and smelled like cigarettes (I don't smoke). In that room the TV and refrigerator worked but the microwave was broken. Also, the bathtub had red colored hard water stains and the bathtub faucet would not stop leaking no matter how tight you turned the water handles. I purchased a pair of shower shoes because I didn't want to stand barefoot in the gross bathtub while I took a shower. Also, the refrigerator was very tiny and the freezer part of the refrigerator was completely encased in ice and could not be used. Also, the comforter on the bed had a hole in it that was from an old cigarette burn.

The staff was nice and the bed was comfortable.

A friends room did not lock, we asked to be moved and they did move rooms. One room had been smoked in. A room next door had the door pushed open and was destroyed inside, it did not appear to be under renovation when we were there. Cleaning services tried to come at 8:30am.

The front desk lady warned me there wasn’t any hot water. That didn’t matter to me but I had hoped to watch tv (no signal) and didn’t have WiFi. The place is old, only 2 of the 4 lamps worked, and there were palmetto bugs.

Ashes in the bathroom even though we asked for a nonsmoking room and a roach crawling across the wall. The faucet in the bathroom dripped all night long no matter what we did.

What I didn't like was that I asked for a king for the second time and I didn't get what I asked for and then when I got to the room the TV didn't work so he had to switch to another room in which that TV was a very old TV

Dirty, had to change rooms 3 times, tv didn’t work, there was can of Raid on the dresser and water on the floor when we walked into 1 room. No hairdryer, the attachment was there but no dryer, and there was mold in the shower.

The room was not very clean. The carpet was dirty, The walls looked like they were about to cave in, in the dining area and that shower area. The rooms did not look like they had been maintained well. The bath sink was clogged, also.

The room space was very good. Very spacious and roomy. Had plenty of room for family to gather in our king suite.

No hot water when we arrived, eventually fixed. Once fixed, water was veey hot. No vent in the bathroom, so stayed humid constantly. Bathroom ceiling shows obvious water damage with mediocre patch job. A/C ran and kept things cool, but couldn't hit a 72 degree setpoint even overnight. The door latch sticks, so previous visitors kicked the door to assist...door is now broken and very floppy at the bottom. Free wifi worked well enough. Fridge seemed fine. Hotel owners seem happy with "keep the place running" instead of improving anything.

Location is the key here, if you're looking for a hotel on a football game weekend.

This facility needs remodeling tremendously . It’s lobby is the nicest room in the whole facility. We stayed in an Interior room facing a pool. By the pools appearance that has not been opened in awhile. It’s not a pleasant view .

Everything is broken. The pool is green. The outdoor tables are worn out. Weeds growing everywhere in the green areas. The two ice machines are broken. The bathroom light didn't work, I had to swap out the bulb from another lamp. The bathroom fan didn't work. There is AC water leaking out everywhere when walking around the building. No one is caring for the property, it's just coasting.

It did have a working air conditioner. The fridge worked, but it was icing up. The morning food was acceptable, one danish, one cookie, one sausage biscuit and a water bottle in a brown bag.

The wi-fi would not connect. The room was hot, air conditioner not cooling properly. The bathroom floor was dirty and some furniture really needed dusting. Th carpet needs a good cleaning.The outside stairwell needed to be swept or blown. The pillows were lumpy. The furniture in lobby news a makeover. I was dissatisfied! The swimming pool was nasty full of leaves
