The walls were quite thin so we could hear music and tv from the adjoining room.

The welcoming staff was exceptional. We were greeted on the front step by a little white cat named Pearl. There were lots of nice little touches like the fresh flowers throughout the public spaces and in the room. There were even towel animals. There were Madeline’s and palmettos available in the lobby. Breakfast was simple but good. It was easy to find. There were quiet hours. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Excessive draft around the AC window unit. There was not much thought given into sealing around it and also to make sure that the space between the raised pane and the other is sealed.

The breakfast could definitely include some variety / kitchen preparation.

I was able to hear everything in the next room. However, that is to be expected, considering the age of the hotel.

The breakfast would have been better if eggs and non-dairy milk were an option. Exercise room really only has one useful piece of equipment, the eiptical. The treadmill didn't work.

The first night, my room was hot. I couldn’t turn the heat off and I had the window AC unit on full blast, and I was still sweating. The bed wasn’t too comfortable, not sure if that was due to the mattress or the supports but it had a slight sag. The AC unit was super loud when it kicked in and startled me a couple of times, which just added to the sleep difficulty. I did get the least expensive room so it is entirely possible the upstairs rooms have better beds, etc.

The location was great for my needs. The staff was very helpful, pleasant and responsive. There were little touches everywhere (like bottles of water, cookies, candies, etc) that made me feel like my stay was appreciated.

My only complaint was our bathroom door didn’t shut due to a warped door frame from aging, but it was manageable for my family, no issues.

The Inn was so charming and welcoming. Fireside reading, family games in a breakfast room and just cozy and welcoming. Comfy communal seating throughout. There were lending libraries all through the INN and board games and foosball available. My daughter also appreciated hot cocoa and cookies before bed each night in the lobby. Although breakfast was your average continental breakfast, it was cozy welcoming and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also appreciated that it’s the first place in 4 years I have found a bedside Bible. (Not a big deal for many but a WIN in my book) We will be making a trip back!

The pillows and mattress in our room were uncomfortable. Front desk staff was ok. They could smile a bit more and ask at check-in and check out if we needed any suggestions where to eat or activities near the area, and they could also ask about our stay experience.

We like the fact that the hotel is located not so far from attractions, fast check-in, and check out processes, quiet room, and hallways. We also like the natural rose placed on our night table and two complimentary bottles of water.

Just the overpowering cleaner smell as stated above . Mayb tone it down a bit. Not a dealbreaker but for some family members it was too much .

No complaints. Clean room , historic inn. Was great for what we needed. Provided sufficient towels and soap. Water bottles . Coffee was always available in lobby ( Keurig ). Fridge in family room which is what we had. Room was clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast quite adequate and sufficient-bagels, toast , yogurts, cereals, coffee,tea and fruit . Only complaint is the scent of whatever cleaner was used in the room was a bit overpowering and we could still smell it on our clothes when we reached home.

Older property showing its age however owners and mgmt continue to do their best to maintain it.

I was expecting a homemade breakfast- not the typical continental you find at every moderate priced hotel.

The historic nature of the building was very interesting, but I wish the had done more to play up the interesting history of Huddy. The mattress was extremely comfortable and room was clean
