Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing really as it had everything we expected, friendly, clean and comfortable
Location was perfect for we wanted to do for the time we were there, the room was comfy and clean and the swimming pool was lovely

Front desk staff very nice & helpful. The room was clean and they made having it cleaned every day very easy. Breakfast was better than most, with some hot food & waffle maker. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Best of all was location — close to Occidental where were were moving in our daughter for college.

Liked everything…. The neighborhood wasn’t the best…. But the hotel was very clean and we felt safe.

great location is picturesque Eagle Rock neighborhood. Very nice staff and very comfortable facilities. Older property with the pluses and minuses that entails.

Electric charger is overpriced. Little choice of breakfast. The sign of the hotel is invisible due overgrown trees and permanently parked yellow track on road. Stained carpets and lime scaled taps. Lots of plastic use. cups, cutlery.
Liked the pool and the hot tub. Useful laundry room. Helpful staff. Ice machine. Lift. Close distance to attractions and motorway.

Clean, well resourced room within easy driving location of Dodger Stadium, WB studios and Hollywood sign. Free parking which was readily available and close to some good restaurants and takeaways. A reasonable breakfast was offered which set us up well for the day.

Baby was walking only a few hours and the baby’s socks were heavily soiled. Carpets probably haven’t been cleaned/shampooed in a good while. We also found a staple on the floor too after keeping track of where baby was walking, my guess is that the room wasn’t vacuumed thoroughly. Spouse and I got bug bites while sleeping during the stay. Also, they have a note inside the refrigerator mentioning that they keep it off to conserve energy, so the guest has to turn the dial inside to turn it on. I guess housekeeping thought the refrigerator was broken as I got a call the next day after our stay about the refrigerator. Told the them about their note inside and everything was good after that. While parking is available on the property, you’ll be SOL when full and will have to resort to street parking.
The price and location is pretty good. Laundry and breakfast is a bonus too if needed. The ice machine is clutch as well. Staff in the lobby are helpful and friendly.

We wish the breakfast room was available earlier than 7 am as we were told. The door says 6 to 9 am.
