No water provided as it was supposed to, hotel said they were completely out and had no idea when they’d get any. While might be a small thing, Traveling from out of town, It was something we were banking on. Especially when I paid @1500 for the 2 rooms on my reservations (jr suite 3 nights plus a queen for 2 nights) Terrace is beautiful but only acceptable through the bar, cannot use as a regular guest to bring out food/beverage and relax, read, enjoy Coffee in cafe was flavored Eve when asked for plain coffee, 2 very expensive cups dumped in trash, could not afford the 15 min it took to get the first cups to wait in line for a refund. (Only 1 patron took that long )

I would say ceiling lights in the room wouldn’t go astray. Prices were a little steep but I guess it is

It was just what we needed. Well located and very well cleaned and serviced. Desk staff were helpful also.

We were told when we checked in that there was no hot water and that it would be fixed in 24 hours. Having travelled from the U.K. and having been awake for 22 hours we decided to still check in on this basis. It turned out that the hot water would be off and on the entire 10 days of our stay. Some days we had none, others it was on tap and sometimes it took 20 minutes to come through making us late for the day. Also the room although nicely decorated only had a wardrobe with a few hangers for storage. There were no drawers so we both had to live out of our suitcases for the length of our stay.

The room was up to date with a lovely out door space at the bar to sit in the evenings. The hotel is around a 10 minute walk from two subways stations and around a 20 minute walk from Dumbo. The cleaning was excellent with us having a cleaning service when ever we requested it. Good value for money had we not had issues with the hot water.

Warm water was not available for about one third of the week; some lamps and plugs broken in the room, window not cleaned

Friendly and helpful staff, great comfortable bed and nice bathroom facility - free water, tee and coffee each day Central location close to subway, brooklyn bridge and dumbo. Better deal than in manhattan just across the bridge

The room and bed were great, the shower was an absolute nightmare! Incredibly difficult to operate. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and never come across such a shower, totally impractical.

    Clean room and comfortable bed.

The music in the lounge/reception area was really loud. The music in the bar/restaurant was unnecessarily loud, we decided to find another place to eat and drink. Washcloths were missing

No bath gel - the bottle was empty, hairdryer didn’t work - housekeeping had to bring a new one, one wash cloth yet two hand towels and two bath towels, HVAC kept on switching off or going from heat which I wanted to AC which I did not.

The $25.00 destination fee was an unwelcome surprise especially since breakfast was not included. Not being able to pull up a chair to the desk was just dumb. The shower towels are too small. It was hard to get the thermostat to lower the room temp from 73.

We liked the decor of the room. Very attractive. The fixtures in the bathroom were nice.
